I didn’t want to leave!! Don’t pass up this little gem in Brenham! Brooke was super responsive and accommodating. Our baseball tournament game was canceled as we pulled into town and Brooke graciously allowed us access to the house a bit earlier. The house was homey, comfortable and relaxing. Thank you for having us…I’ve already told friends this is the place to book when visiting Brenhem and surrounding areas!

This was a wonderful stay for a long weekend celebrating my daughter’s birthday. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. Large kitchen and seating for meals. Private land with a pond and lots of walking trails. Ten minute quaint walk to Lake Somerville through a quiet neighborhood. Host was excellent at communicating and had the house very user friendly. We stayed to visit Round Top and the drive was a bit far but worth the pricing, and the view along the way was amazing in the spring with all of the bluebonnets.

The Painted Lady-short walk to downtown square

The stay was so peaceful and much needed for our girls’ weekend. The chocolate on the pillow was an adorable touch and the stocked bathroom, robes, closet with games, and coffees were an added bonus. It’s so close to downtown Brenham, full of antiquing, eating, art, and friendly chats. The place is beautifully decorated, quaint, relaxing, and just enough space to ensure you get out and make the most of what Brenham has to offer. Note that it is attached to another dwelling as a duplex, but we only heard them when they had to use the gate or walk past our window outside. I didn’t hear them any other time. There’s ample parking and countless shops and eateries nearby. I highly recommend an excursion (horseback riding) 20 min drive away at Rockin’ Star Ranch! One of the most unique experiences I’ve had. I also recommend Mescalito Coffee off of Alamo St for coffee. Truth BBQ (get there before 10AM) is also award winning and delicious! Thanks again!

This place was so cozy the backyard was super cute and cozy we were there long but the place really was nice if we are very in need in the area we will be back. So clean had everything and more that you needed lots of space. Easy to get in easy instructions and Kristi was the sweetest! Thank you!
