Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Waterberg District Municipality

Due to the fire at Mabalingwe last year this unit burned down, but Tanya was able to move my booking to another unit called Stone Lodge. I didn't see 3 on Cliff, but I assume the units are fairly similar in quality. I was very happy it. The location was quite deep into the bush and far from the game drive facilities (approximately 40 minutes drive) which I didn't realize initially. But we still had a great time though!

Emma and her team were very friendly and efficient! The house was spotless and with everything you need to have a very relaxing time in the bush veld! There were many activities to do and we had visitors at the waterhole every afternoon! It was a pity that our family could not be with us as this is truly a home where families can have a great time! I will recommend this house to any family!

We stayed here for a high school reunion and absolutely loved it! The place is beautiful—peacefully tucked away in nature, making it the perfect escape from the city. The lapa area was a real winner for our group, especially with the chilly weather. It gave us a warm, comfortable space to hang out and make memories. The woman who helped with cleaning was so lovely and welcoming, which really added a personal touch to our stay. John is an outstanding host—super organized and thoughtful. He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. We’re already planning to come back during the warmer months to enjoy the gorgeous, spotless swimming pool. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway!

Absolute gem! So much space and very well equipped. We had such a lovely relaxing weekend and cannot fault a thing! Definitely went to return again soon!

This is one of the most beautiful properties we have ever stayed. The nights out on the patio by the fire pit and under the stars were incredibly memorable. We were there with extended family, but I could see this as a perfect family or friend reunion location. I wish we had decided to stay longer. The house was well equipped with all amenities including decent wifi - very impressive for a rural location. Do be aware that the house is in a safe but pretty remote location (albeit only 3.5 hrs from Pretoria). This was a plus for us, but could be a minus for people that want amenities nearby. With that caveat in mind, I can't recommend the place highly enough.

Communication from Ian was very good, timely and on-point. We never wondered about anything. He was also very accommodating and friendly.

Paige is a great host. The place was easy to find, clear instruction, clean and stunning place with impeachable view. Also Paige is such a resoonsive host. We enjoyed our yearly staycation.

we lived in this place for three days. the apartment is small in size, but very comfortable. there is absolutely everything you need to stay. It is possible to cook your own meals and use the barbecue area. the hosts are very pleasant and friendly. they helped us with several issues. the location of the hotel is very convenient. a quiet place for a comfortable stay, next to Pilanesberg Park. We are happy with our stay and rest in this place and recommend it for you! It feels like the owners approach their business wholeheartedly!

grate place down by the river. Quiet, clean and off grid ( no signal, no wifi) just the brake we needed. thank you 5 star's from us. hope to come again soon

Tayla's Airbnb is located in a safe area close to Pilanesberg National Park. It is well-equipped with everything one might need during their stay. Tayla is friendly and very welcoming, personally greeting us at check-in and giving all instructions.

Fantastic spot, this is really a hidden gem if you are planning a trip to Pilansberg and/or Sun City for a day. Such a lovely place, friendly host, and fantastic atmosphere. Kitchen had all the amenities, and the space has a lot of small touches that make it special. Well worth a visit.

Looks like the pictures, really clean and we loved seeing the animals everyday

We had a great stay on the beautiful farm and the house was great, with lovely views. One thing that could be improved is that in winter heated blankets on the beds would be great as the house gets really cold during the night in June. 😊

If nature, peace and quiet is what you are looking for, this is the place. We loved the large windows, great views, fireplace and the fact that hot water was always avaliable. Watching the animals grazing from our stoep were also a highlight! Please take note: You'll need a high ground clearance vehicle to reach the cottage!! Blankets are old, rather take your own.

Aske Bush Retreat was everything we hoped for and more! Nestled deep in nature, it offered the perfect mix of tranquility and comfort. Waking up to the sounds of birds and the fresh scent of nature. The cabin was clean, well-equipped, and beautifully designed to blend into the natural surroundings. We loved the walking trails nearby and the peaceful evenings by the fire pit under the stars. The hosts were friendly and responsive. If you're looking to disconnect and recharge, this is the place. Would absolutely stay again!

An awesome rustic bush experience surrounded by game and many, many bird species. Service was outstanding! Our host, Monica, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Definitely would like to go back.

Beautiful place to stay. Private and peaceful. Amazing to watch the animals whilst having your morning coffee. Didn’t use the fire pit but I’m sure it would make for a wonderful evening sipping wine and watching the sunset.
