Our cozy guesthouse offers the best of 2 worlds. You are in a lovely quiet place in the middle of nature with a view of meadows and forest. If you're lucky you'll be face to face with a cow from the house. But you are also only 15 minutes away from the lively capital Amsterdam. The guesthouse is very private at the back of our site at a good distance from our typical Dutch farmhouse. We live here with our 2 kids and our 2 dogs (who walk around freely). Peace & quiet, relaxation, plenty to do!

The house is on the outskirts of the Purmerbos where you can take wonderful walks, with or without your loyal four-legged friend. By bus, you can reach Noord station (A'dam) within 15 minutes and Central Station within 20 minutes. The cow market in the center of Purmerend can be reached within fifteen minutes by bike.

From Monnickendam, trips to Marken, Volendam, Edam, the Zaanse Schans and Amsterdam are easily possible by car, bicycle and public transport. Free parking in the harbour. The houseboat is wonderfully heated. The houseboat is not for sailing yourself.

The apartment got totally renovated 5 years ago into a sweet vintage jazzy crib :) You can play vinyls or listen to the birds in the nice private garden. The apartment is located in Amsterdam North. 15 min by bike or 20 min by public transport from Amsterdam Central Station. Supermarkets around the corner and surrounded by beautifull nature.

Very tastefully decorated studio with panoramic views in a rural area, yet a stone's throw from Amsterdam. The studio is located in the garden of a beautiful modern houseboat (which can sometimes also be booked during the summer holidays, if you're lucky!) on the other side of the Broekervaart and borders the meadows. The studio is accessible by its own private cable ferry. Free parking is available directly on the dike opposite the plot.

Volendam, Edam, Hoorn and Amsterdam are easily accessible, and you can enjoy hiking and cycling in the beautiful surroundings. Enjoy a beautiful setting, time and attention for each other. In 2021, a modern and detached guest house was built on the site where the smoke lofts of the herring and mackerel used to be. You have your own entrance with a garden. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, A/C, kitchen, washer/dryer make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. There is a jetty at 20 meters distance l where your boat can be located.
