Our cozy guesthouse offers the best of 2 worlds. You are in a lovely quiet place in the middle of nature with a view of meadows and forest. If you're lucky you'll be face to face with a cow from the house. But you are also only 15 minutes away from the lively capital Amsterdam. The guesthouse is very private at the back of our site at a good distance from our typical Dutch farmhouse. We live here with our 2 kids and our 2 dogs (who walk around freely). Peace & quiet, relaxation, plenty to do!

Een heerlijke plek als uitvalsbasis met een eigen ingang om de omgeving te ontdekken.

Luxury, comfort and respect for nature come together. We would like to welcome you on our sustainable Surla houseboat to create beautiful memories with this unique experience. Surla takes care of mooring the houseboat (sloop included) in the summer. (depending on the weather and no rights can be derived from this).

This old-Dutch farm house is situated on a little island with it's own bridge. With the city on a 15 minutes distance, you'd be surprised of the calm and serene atmosphere. We offer the use of an electric boat to explore the surroundings. The surrounded nature is ideal for ice skating, cycling and boat trips. We have a canoe you can use in front of the house. Studio in Amsterdam Area: "Horizon Hideaway"

Brand new! Very tastefully decorated studio with panoramic views in a rural area, yet a stone's throw from Amsterdam. The studio is located in the garden of a beautiful modern houseboat (which can sometimes also be booked during the summer holidays, if you're lucky!) on the other side of the Broekervaart and borders the meadows. The studio is accessible by its own private cable ferry. Free parking is available directly on the dike opposite the plot.

This apartment is a real pearl for people that like Amsterdam but also like to stay in a quiet green area. The apartment got totally renovated 5 years ago into a sweet vintage jazzy crib :) You can play vinyls or listen to the birds in the nice private garden. The apartment is located in Amsterdam North. 15 min by bike or 20 min by public transport from Amsterdam Central Station. Supermarkets around the corner and surrounded by beautifull nature.

We heten je graag welkom op ons fantastische schip Norderney! Gelegen in de haven van Monnickendam, op steenworp afstand van het historische centrum met leuke terrasjes en restaurants. Volendam, Edam, Hoorn en Amsterdam zijn goed bereikbaar en je kunt heerlijk wandelen en fietsen in de mooie omgeving. Genieten in een prachtige setting, tijd en aandacht voor elkaar. Een romantische en geweldige belevenis die je niet snel vergeet.

Vrijstaand gastenverblijf in de binnenstad van het pittoreske stadje Monnickendam. Op de plaats waar vroeger de rookhokken van de haring en makreel stonden, is in 2021 een modern en vrijstaand gastenverblijf gebouwd. U heeft een eigen opgang met een tuin. 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers, airco, keuken, wasmachine/droger maken uw verblijf comfortabel en aangenaam. Er is een steiger op 20 meter afstand l waar uw boot kan liggen.

Our ship has been completely renovated and offers a private bathroom in each bedroom. In the wheelhouse you can look out endlessly and relax and enjoy the beautiful view. There is a fast bus connection to Amsterdam and its surroundings. Close to shopping.

Historical sailing ship Monnickendam and Amsterdam

Welcome on board of our historical sailing ship "Chateauroux", in the summer sailing the Dutch waters and docked in the historical harbour town Monnickendam (20 min from Amsterdam) or in Amsterdam. Experience the unique and free way of living on the water, like many local Monnickendammers and Amsterdammers do. Our skipper will be happy to tell you all about the ship, sailing and the city.

"Koetshuis Monnickendam" located in the old historic centre of Monnickendam. Features a large kitchen equipped with a gas stove, convection oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is a large bathroom and the stay has one bedroom with two double beds, sleeps 4 adults. High-speed internet is available. Monnickendam has a good connection. Amsterdam is only 15 km away from the house.
