Holiday rentals with a pool in Wattala

This was our first stay out of a few others in Sri Lanka. We had an amazing time. We, as a family of 5 stayed 2 nights at Lalin's place and it was a great start to our trip. Luxurio villa with greenery all around, not too far from city centre. Well spacious rooms and all available amenities at the kitchen made it a perfect stay. Cherry on the cake was the swimming pool which calls you to take a dip after a busy touristy dayout :-) Lalin and the caretaker was proactive, helped us with a flexible early check-in and also took care of our queries in advance. This property is a definite recommendation for anyone visiting Colombo. Thanks, Bithika

Upul's property is beautiful. The caretaker was very thorough with her job and made sure we were comfortable, She even arranged a local tuk tuk for a dinner visit to town. It's a bit further off from the main touristy centre, but if you are seeking a quiet, beautiful retreat, this is great, and proximity to the airport makes it a perfect 1st or last stop from Colombo.

Superbe logement. Propre. belles installations. Correspond a la description. Proche d'un supermarché et de restaurants. a 40 min du centre de Colombo. Proche de la route et d'une école hymne national le matin. wifi plutôt bon. L'hôte est très reactif et le gardien sur place très gentil. La salle de sport et la piscine est très agréable ainsi que la douche exterieure. Parfait pour notre séjour de 2 nuits en famille.

We booked 'A place' for a group of 6. The place was exactly as seen in pictures. 'Dilan' - the host was always available for questions. He gave us a good tour and encouraged to use all the amenities. The home caretaker 'Anusha' was on the property 24*7 and available to assist in the group activities and daily chores. We were also introduced to a local guide 'Champika' who virtually got everything done for us. Since, we didn't speak Singalese, Dilan and Champika made sure all our needs were taken care of. Over all: - Great place and Stay - Friendly and helpful Host - Excellent care taker and his availability - Very reliable and trustworthy people - No hidden charges or trying to squeez extra It was a wonderful experience over all. I highly recommend this place for a Professional meeting, Family or friends get together. Nice and Quite with access to the beach right there!! And most importantly - 'Friendly, trustworthy and reliabile' people for a stay in a foreign country!!!

A very "cozy" apartment indeed: it suited our family of 3 adults perfectly. Amazing views & ambience. The apartment is located in a very central part of Colombo with easy access to many eateries, hotels & shopping outlets. There is a supermarket directly opposite the apartment building, which was extremely convenient. The apartment building had excellent security staff, who were so very kind & obliging, a BIG THANK YOU to them for helping us with all our luggage & shopping bags at varied intervals & also helping us safely navigate the many cabbies we travelled with.😀 The owner of the apartment was flexible with check-in & check-out times which was so helpful. He even met us at the apartment when we checked in way early in the morning. Disappointingly the wifi in the apartment was very unreliable. All other appliances including the washing machine & hot water system worked fine though, no problems. A fantastic holiday stay all in all! 🌸

Great location, and more than I expected. We had a great time and the host was really good at checking in on us and making the whole trip smooth. He taught how to turn on the POOL JACUZZI!! It was amazing! The bed sheets and towels were brand new or felt new! The space was spotless. We walked right across to the beach and had some amazing food! Surprise is mentioned the hosts name and you get some great service. Everyone seems to know him! The backyard is really quiet and you can have a lovely drink in the Gazebo overlooking the pool. This was a great find! I would recommend this for single and family visitors! Sri Lanka is amazing and the host is a true island hospitality king! We felt safe in the house and the neighborhood. Great WiFi and fully stocked kitchen! Bathrooms were spotless and great shower pressure. We loved it all and wished we stayed longer.

We arrived in Columbo Airport just before 3am, technically the day after our booking started. The host had been great in the lead-up, checking in regularly and reassuring us everything was sorted, and he even came to the airport to pick us up himself. The drive was relatively short but lively. Even at that hour, the streets were buzzing with people, bikes, tuk-tuks, and market stalls. It was a bit of an eye opener after a long flight. As we turned down dark, bumpy backroads, we were a little unsure, especially with a young child. Once we passed through the iron gate and saw the garden and pool, we still wasnt sold, but as soon as the front door opened, we relaxed. The house was spotless, spacious, and exactly as described. I woke early and opened the curtains to palm trees and the pool, a total contrast to the hustle outside. The host came by in the morning to clean the pool and arranged a tuk-tuk to take us shopping. Highly recommend hideaway right next to a buzzing local area.

I stayed at Sumudu's place with my mother for nearly 4 weeks. we felt right at home. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The complex was secure and had gym and a pool. Sumudu is such a responsive and helpful host. Event hough the apartment complex was right next to a busy street, the apartment was very quiet. There are lot of supermartkets and restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend Sumudu's place to anyone who is looking for a place near Colombo.

Great location to stay in Colombo. Thilak was super helpful and accommodating during our month-long stay. The apartment was well furnished and had everything we needed! We would highly recommend staying here.

Heshan is a nice person and a great host,he is very much co operative and reaponsibe host . First I stayed with my friends and then with my wife and daughter, in between two booking there was a gap of one night which I wanted to stay in a different place but This gentleman allowed me to stay one night free of charge . I have been staying through Airbnb since long time and I never met such a nice person . The. Location he explained is exactly the same as description, the location is very much amazing! In my next visit to colombo I must knock him to allow me again .

We really enjoyed our stay here, the flat was great - really spacious, clean and modern. The view was incredible also, and the aircon worked really well. Sathii was very quick at responding to any queries. I am already planning to revisit here when I am back in Sri Lanka. Thank you

I had a comfortable stay here! The location is very convenient! what you see in the photos is exactly what you get, including a lovely view of the city. While it might seem a bit far from the center at first glance, it’s actually not. Tuktuks are always available right downstairs, and there's also a mini mart for essentials. The house has most of the amenities you’d need, and the bottles of water in the fridge were a really thoughtful touch. The host was also quick to respond and solve any issues I had. Definitely recommended!

Wonderful Stay – Clean, Spacious, and Full of Amenities! We had an amazing stay on this beautiful property located in centre of colmbo . The space was immaculately clean and very spacious, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The complex offers great amenities – we especially enjoyed the pool, gym, badminton, and table tennis facilities. There’s also ample car parking, which made things so convenient. There are several nice restaurants nearby, offering a variety of cuisines within walking or short driving distance. Our host was extremely responsive and helpful, making check-in smooth and answering all our questions quickly. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Beautiful pristine apartment in a very good location. Pool area very quiet and a great place to relax. Excellent security, felt extremely safe. Overall we were extremely happy with the apartment and we have no issue about recommending this apartment.
