Bramley Cottage is a converted hay barn nestled in the middle of it's own Somerset cider apple orchard. The cottage consists of an entrance hall, open plan sitting room and diner and a fully stocked modern kitchen. Upstairs are three good sized bedrooms, the master having its own ensuite. Outside are 2100 cider apple trees, which you are welcome to explore. A full cider tour can be arranged if required. Next door is an historic cider barn serving great cider and food when open. Wendale Barn is a beautifully renovated, compact, detached building, the perfect place to relax on the edge of Cheddar. With private patio, decking and stunning views of the reservoir and Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with double bed upstairs and sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a run of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high, without guardrails and there is a shallow pond.

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Please note there is a toilet and sink in the hut, but guests will have use of a shower in the main family house. Owner is a professional pianist, lessons or private performance can be arranged for special evening Perfect for walkers- below national trust “Crook Peak” Close to historic town of Axbridge and Cheddar. Two village pubs less than a mile away.

Tranquil retreat in a beautiful Somerset village

Our annexe has been refurbished to provide a high-end environment, ideal for 2 adults to relax in. It is set in an area called the Allertons, a cluster of beautiful character villages. It is always a pleasure to stroll around. The pace is relaxed, the locals are very friendly and will direct you to the local pubs and shops if requested. The Mendip hills , Wells and Glastonbury are very near, and all offer so much for sight seekers.

Cosy country cottage

The cottage has views over looking Cheddar Gorge and Axbridge. The annex has a private entrance into lounge with stair case going up to lovely bedroom, which has a double bed and single bed plus small en-suite shower room. There is a small kitchenette . We are 20 minutes from Bristol airport, 20 minutes from Wells, Weston-Super-Mare, 50 minutes from Bath. The accommodation is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
