A small, shallow private lake (no fish or motorcraft) crystal clear water. A row boat is available. Several marked walking trails throughout the property. An ideal place for reflection and enjoying nature. You will be off the beaten path. Out of respect for those who are looking for a natural retreat with lots of wildlife: No Pets, Children, Smoking

North Sand Lake is 900 acres with a max depth of 73 feet! Fish include Bass, Northern Pike & Walleye. Voyager Village is nearby offering brunch on weekends, golf and a full size indoor pool for the kiddos on rainy days. The Sand Bar is within walking distance for yummy bites and good drinks!

Just lovely. Felt like home. All 8 of us had plenty of space and felt free to roam including the 2 dogs. The house was beautiful. Stocked well with everything a person could need for a week of pleasure. Will return next year if able👌🏻

The house was super clean, exactly as described. Peaceful, quiet area. The beach areas were very nice and we had them to ourselves basically. The golf course was great and the PAR3 course was great for the kids to try. Caught tons of fish straight from the shore, the club house is walkable, overall it was great, would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Great Bear Getaway, despite cold, rainy weather. The beds were very comfortable, cabin is cozy and lots to do in the area. We appreciated the access to the clubhouse pool and fitness center and all the recommendations related to the area. My only recommendation to guests is if you like to cook, bring specialty tools and things like oil, seasonings so you are certain to have them or check with Hillary on availability.

This was our 2nd year in a row staying at The Hideaway. Amanda is a great host that provides great accommodations, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, dishware ect. The private setting with stunning lake views is the icing on the cake. Highly recommend staying at The Hideaway!
