Has two beds (with the option of a 3rd), wall cupboards, a wardrobe, sink, a large table which doubles up as a workspace/dining table and cooking facilities. The bookcase contains fact & fiction and publications by the hosts on Sri Lanka, with comfortable chairs to relax in and read. Photographs and paintings by Sri Lankan artists adorn the walls.

I wouldn't deem it luxury accom, but the amazing view & ambiance will certainly be an unforgettable experience. The apt is in a family setting, but each is very private and fun. However, Illicit drugs and prostitutes are not allowed in the complex. Security will call the police if they suspect any illegal activity.

I had a genuinely happy, warm & lovely experience in Roshanthi’s and Jimmy’s place. Both of them were extremely kind and gracious in the way they welcomed me and made sure I was okay at every point. This is a rare gem of a space - for the quality of the space and the price it’s offered at. Being a yoga practitioner I had no qualms doing my practices in the room itself. It’s well lit, the windows allow ample air to come in. The bathroom is clean and neatly organized. There’s a warm corner with a desk and it’s the perfect workspace for late nights. Early mornings are quite peaceful with the light that pours in from the window and openings. It’s got everything you need. The place has a charming vibe that takes you back in time and makes you feel at home instantly. The room is a perfect fit for anyone who wants to feel at home in Colombo. It’s a testament of Roshanthi and Jimmy’s commitment to offering a genuine and worthwhile experience to everyone they have opened their home to.

I stayed for almost two weeks and had a great experience. The place was just as described, clean, and comfortable. The gated automatic door made it feel safe. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the shared kitchen was convenient. The host family was warm and welcoming, and flexible with check-in/out, which made the stay very pleasant. The area has lots of restaurants and easy access to the city center. The only small downside was that the bathroom is right outside the room, so privacy could be a concern for some, but overall, a great stay!

srilax is a very clean accommodation and a small oasis in Colombo, in the green shielded from the city's big city life. the rooms are very large and very nicely furnished. the staff extremely friendly. the food was very nice! Compared to other restaurants a little more expensive but due to the good product selection it was justified for us. we would go back to Sriilax.

We had a wonderful stay at Azrar’s place in Wellawatta! The location is perfect — right in the heart of town and close to all the grocery stores, restaurants, and everything else you might need. The house was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for the three of us. All three bedrooms are air-conditioned, and with two bathrooms, it was ideal for our group. The host, Azrar, was extremely polite, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. He made sure we had everything we needed and was always just a message away. Honestly, we had nothing to complain about — everything went smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sri Lanka on holiday. Thank you, Azrar, for your excellent hospitality!
