Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Wellington Shire

What an amazing house! Just spend 5 wonderful nights here with family, and it was the perfect home away from home, comfortably accommodating eight of us (four adults and four children). The games room was a massive hit with the kids, as were the hot tub and fire pit. A short walk to the beach, and beautiful views out over the lake. The birds taking flight over the lake at sunset was just gorgeous! And to top it off - Keith was the perfect host, friendly, helpful, and responsive. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to stay! Lan provided lots of tea, coffee and water for us. Bedding was great, views stunning. Lots of firewood for the fireplace as well, great cooking amenities. Great for a family stay or a weekend away

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless, well-maintained, and stocked with tons of board games, which made for some fun, relaxing evenings. It’s in a great location—easy to get around—and being dog friendly was a huge bonus for us. Elisa was extremely responsive and provided lots of helpful local recommendations. Would absolutely stay here again!

Loved Belinda’s little cottage - the photos don’t do it justice. It has been beautifully renovated but preserved the character with modern touches and attention to detail - a lot of love has gone into this place. We had everything we needed including comfy beds and good quality towels and loved the animals for company, especially the cheeky chickens. Belinda was very generous providing us with free range eggs, milk and a flexible check in. Thank you for hosting, we will be back!

House is great, well equipped and beautifully decorated. Deck with a brasero the wood burner and pizza oven are great bonuses to the house! Everything was prepared and easy to use, perfect for a weekend with friends or family. Communication was perfect and really friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Anton’s house

We loved our stay at Michael's place. The surroundings are very private and peaceful, away from all hustle and bustle. We wish we had more time to enjoy the spacious house and surrounds. The house was beautiful and met our needs well for a wedding, with so many rooms it catered well for our mixed party. We loved the feeling of solitude and the views are absolutely spectacular. We would definitely visit again.

We stayed at Melinda’s place for two nights on the way home from a trip to Merimbula. It was just what we needed to unwind (even with two little boys!) The beautiful fireplace was a highlight, as was the huge backyard for the boys to run around and kick the footy in. The boys also loved riding their bikes and scooters up and down the driveway. Highly recommend this cosy place for a break. Location was so great being across the road from the beach. Melinda was so responsive and helpful, answering all our questions within minutes and also having an extension lead dropped off to us. Thanks for such a great stay!

Didn't get to stay in this apartment as the previous guest wished to extend their stay, but Tom/team moved us to a great apartment they manage at M. Hotel just around the corner. Everybody we interacted with in the process was a pleasure to deal with and made our stay in Sale lovely.

Did not disappoint! Could not have been in a better location! One minute walk to bars, restaurant, supermarket, ski hire and chairlift. The apartment is tastefully styled and loved the extra second lounge downstairs for the kids. Could not fault it! Communication was very prompt and always friendly.

We had a fantastic stay at Peak 202 over Easter for a family wedding—John was a wonderful host and the apartment was perfect. Just steps from the village and Chamois ski run, the location couldn’t be better. The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows were stunning, and the space was warm, welcoming, and well-equipped. Our family felt completely at home with three spacious bedrooms, a spa bath, drying room, full laundry, and a great kitchen with everything from a Nespresso machine to a dishwasher. The gas fireplace, Smart TVs, free WiFi, and heated balcony with BBQ made it extra cozy and convenient. Keyless entry and thoughtful extras like games and a secure parking space really stood out. Everything was spotless, stylish, and designed with comfort in mind. Thanks, John, for a memorable and seamless stay—we’ll definitely return to Peak 202!

We had an amazing stay at Whitehorse village. Excellent location at the top of Burke Street ski run. Need to arrange a ride share in advance if you have a lot of luggage as it is located at the top of the hill. Owner was amazing to deal with and the kitchen was fully stocked which made cooking our own meals easy. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

Excellent location just close to ski lifts. Although on the small side, the north facing views over the mountains made the place very light and pleasant to spend time in. Kitchen was well appointed and bathroom was very clean and had ensuite access from the main bedroom. Good heating system, and entry hall able to be turned into a drying room which was a nice touch. Gas log fire was good too. Definitely worth staying in!

Our stay was absolutely perfect and Anton was a great host who was super helpful and responded quickly to messages. Uninterrupted views of the sunrise, super close walk to the tennis courts and not one but three balconies to choose from to admire the view was definitely worth it all.
