Although the interior needs a good clean, the exterior was amazing. The little garden and the direct access to the beach is amazing!

We Loved our stay in the little log cabin. The waterfall was so beautiful and even though it rained all Saturday we still enjoyed the hot tub and a friendly lovable cat that loved to cuddle up. It was perfect.

The Sea Shack really is an idyllic retreat by the shore. The shacks are cute and comfortable and the people friendly. We only wish we could have stayed a few days longer.

KwaThula Too Seaside Cottage

AshleaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Kurt's cottage in Paternoster is the perfect little place to press reset and unwind... There is everything you could need in the cottage and a wonderful guidebook to make the most of your stay... Kwa Thula Too was immaculately clean and bright too! Walking along the beach, watching the sunset from our garden patio, eating in some lovely places and spending time exploring Tietiesbaai left us feeling like we'd had a real adventure!

Sea Shack "Mossel" - 2nd row twin bed unit

CarolRating, 5 stars68 months ago
An idyllic, peaceful setting on the beach. It is so relaxing as it is off the grid using solar power for showers and gas for cooking and fridges. There is everything you need in the stunning boma overlooking the sea. We enjoyed a lovely braai our first night and looking at the sea and stars was incredibly special. Peter is an excellent manager and helped us settle in and with all our questions. Highly recommended if you love the ocean, open spaces and endless views.

Hopefield School Bus

FarhaanahRating, 5 stars17 months ago
A short distance from CT to the most peaceful hidden gem tucked away among the Western Cape's most beautiful fynbos. What a great break from the busyness of the city, and technology! Not once did I feel the urge to scroll through mindless social media apps! instead, we cooked meals together, played board games, read books, soaked in the hot tub and at night, gazed at the star-filled sky sitting around a bonfire.

Solace Eco Cabins - Tea Cabin

KelseyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Words can't describe Solace, but numbers can 100/10. What an incredible stay from start to finish. The cabin is perfect, it is equipped with everything you need, it is cosy and comfortable. The wood-fired hot tub was a highlight, we spent our nights star gazing. We forgot to bring milk and when we enquired about the closest shop, the hosts went out of their way to bring us some milk. I can highly recommend Solace for a few nights away. I'm pretty sure i've come back home a better person.

Solace Eco Cabins - Citrus Cabin

DarcelleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What an Incredible birthday getaway for my partner. Solace is the perfect space for two people wanting to escape the hussle and bussle of city life! The peace you find in the space is unmatched. Breath taking views, vast open spaces and the sweet, sweet smell of the citrus trees. The cabin itself was so nicely decorated with beautiful attention to detail. We loved that there were living plants all around the inside of the cabin. Extra blankets and cushions made it even more cozy and comfortable, with a wonderful air conditioning system to cool the cabin down after a blistering hot day. The gas braai, made for quick and easy dinners, which is precisely what one needs to enjoy time away. They even had a juicer, which was lovely for the oranges we bought…So refreshing!! We would definitely recommend staying here and we will surely be back as soon as we can.

The Silo

EnverRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Charming, elegant, and special are words that come to mind when I think of this unique accommodation and the surrounding area. We also had a chance to try their delicious wine tasting experience and enjoy their scrumptious lunch time pizzas. The bbq (braai) pack we got for dinner made dinner time a relaxing and fun experience too. The Silo was magical and we are excited to return and perhaps also try some of the other properties the hosts offers.

The tiny home

MarcoRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This little getaway is an absolute gem – we’re already planning to come back! The tiny house is beautifully designed with thoughtful details, plenty of storage, and a super comfy bed. The decor is simple yet stylish, and the view of the garden and eco pool adds to the peaceful charm of the space. Speaking of the pool – it’s such a treat on hot days! As a natural eco pool, the water isn’t your usual bright blue, but you’ll step out feeling refreshed with no chlorine dryness – we loved that. We also really appreciated the presence of the friendly, well-behaved dogs who greeted us warmly but never entered the unit. As a South African–European couple, this spot is officially on our regular weekend escape list. Whether you’re after a digital detox or just some proper peace and quiet, this is a top choice. From the warm hospitality to the great value – and the fact that your hosts speak English, German and Afrikaans – it’s a full 5-star experience. Rodd & Marco 🇿🇦🇩🇪

Wow what a fantastic location for a quick breakaway. Mandie was exceptional and made us feel right at home and going the extra mile (even leaving an Easter surprise for our little one). Super quite and peacful but also within 10min from the mall and restaurants. Highly recommended.
