Holiday rentals with a fire pit in West Lampeter Township

It is a five (5) star hotel with fully equipped home away home Airbnb! We’ve been to different Airbnb’s around the world, experience at this beautiful Bridge Covered Cottage is one of our bests! We’ve enjoyed every minute of the staying/visiting in Lancaster PA. We appreciate your thoughtful hospitality. Our families and friends will definitely hear about our good stories at this beautiful and unique cottage.

This place was absolutely perfect. It was a great location, close to everything but still in a setting that was away from the busy-ness. The house itself was gorgeous-hot tub, fire pit, a game room, super clean, organized, and had everything we needed and then some. This was my first ever airbnb and it was a great experience. Miriam had clear instructions, everything she set up was thoughtful and intentional. During the first few hours, we already talked about returning. I reached out a couple of times for questions (which were already answered, I just needed to read what she already put out there for us) but Miriam still answered professionally and politely, and super quick. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

The perfect house for a long weekend with friends. We very comfortably fit six adults and five kids (ages 5, 4, 2, 1 and 1). So well equipped for families with a crib in the master bedroom and tons of toys and games. Lots of places to hang out from the beautiful screened in porch to the open layout upstairs and game room downstairs. The location is incredible… a front yard full of horses (you’re living amongst the farms) and a very short drive to the activities we chose. Highly recommend checking out Cherry Crest Farm, Strasbourg train and Dutch Wonderland. Across the street from the house is an Amish stand with fresh baked goods and strawberries. For food, Lancaster Brewing co was fantastic as well as Speckled Hen. Can’t wait to come back!

Melvin's place was the perfect location for our family reunion. We were in search of peaceful surroundings, which is exactly what we got. The home was clean and had everything we need d for a comfortable stay.

This is the second time we have stayed at Wilkum Home. We enjoyed the stay in this home so much the first time that it was an easy decision to stay here again on our second visit to Lancaster. The home is conveniently located for walking or driving to restaurants, area attractions or wherever you wish to go. The house is very clean, nicely decorated and has all the amenities you need for a home away from home. And the hosts are wonderful, always very responsive and accommodating. Also the home has a dedicated parking space just steps away from the front door which adds another level of convenience to this home. If you’re looking for very nice accommodations in Lancaster City, then you have found it - this is truly a fantastic place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in the Lancaster area! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and responsive, with great attention to detail—from the welcoming touches when we arrived to helpful local recommendations. The location was perfect: peaceful and scenic, yet just a short drive from downtown Lancaster, Amish country, and all the charming shops and restaurants in the area. We especially loved sitting outside in the mornings and enjoying the quiet. Highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the Lancaster area. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great location in Amish country with a peaceful, enjoyable yard. Landscaping was beautiful, and my little one loved the playset and basketball court. The individual A/C units in the upstairs bedrooms made it very comfortable. The kitchen could be better stocked — we bought a local bottle of wine and couldn’t find a corkscrew, but Kayla was very responsive and brought one the next day! I’d suggest adding kitchen scissors, pizza pans, and a pizza cutter to pair with the great outdoor Breoo pizza oven. A better-stocked kitchen would really set this rental apart. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily return!

What a beautiful peaceful location. We had to drive everywhere we went but that was our intent. Everything we needed was provided, the apartment was spotless, and we had plenty of space for our belongings. We’ll definitely book this place again!

For one quick night it was a nice quiet stay. Owners were quick to respond and very informative. We will definitely be staying here again hopefully in the near future.

Beautiful space with lots of amenities…and omg the best shower and soaking tub ever! Immaculate place with a gracious host who was super responsive and friendly. Cant imagine a better space to spend time in Lancaster!

We absolutely loved our stay in Emily's place. It was even better in person than the photos. Emily was communicative and proactive- she thought of everything we needed ahead of time! My daughter loved the hot tub, fire pit, and smores kit!

Wonderful experience, I really can't say one negative thing. Beautiful farm located in Amish country. My wife and I loved petting the calves, dogs and kittens. Wilma had cookies, bread, milk and eggs for us. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing Airbnb, Jane was very easy to communicate with and flexible on our check out which helped a lot with our little ones. Would highly recommend her as a host and staying at her apartment. Was also very clean and had a toy room which my daughter loved!

We were looking for a last minute family trip to Lancaster for a train ride and to visit an Amish farm. We were traveling with our 4 children under 5 and Dorothy was extremely accommodating. She offered us fresh milk from their cows and kept it raw by special request due to some of our kids lactose intolerance from pasteurized milk. The fresh bread and jam, eggs from their hens which we could see outside our kitchen window, made the homestead life seem so simple lovely and enjoyable (I’m sure it takes a lot of hard work to keep up with - they do a phenomenal job and I was so grateful to share a small moment of that). They provided a crib and an extra mattress on the floor for our kids. The space was cozy, very clean and we felt right at home. It rained for a little while we were there and Dorothy had legos and books available which the kids enjoyed. When it wasn’t raining we were able to walk their beautiful property. The kids really enjoyed the tree swing, playground and trampoline.

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend. Location is beautiful. Cabin is perfectly simple and thoughtfully supplied. We loved the decks, the birds, the creek and rain sounds. We had a point of confusion on check in and Susan was responsive and kind. We both very much hope we can visit again.

Very nice cabin. It’s obvious there was a lot of time and money invested into the cabin. Private and quiet yet only 10 minutes from groceries and dining. Lots of outdoor sight seeing and hiking close by. 5 minute walk to the river. Small stream on the property makes it very relaxing while sitting by the fire-pit. Host is super friendly and accommodating. We plan to return again in the near future.

Absolutely beautiful property and home. Extremely clean. Gracious and welcoming hosts. Our family had a great time. Had everything we needed and more. Including homemade chocolate chip cookies on the table when we arrived. Would go back again for sure.

Stayed here in 2019 and again this week. Beautiful as ever, quaint and clean. My only criticism is the lights in the yard were not working and there was not a bulb in the back porch light so it was pitch black at night which made the outdoor area not as enjoyable as it could’ve been at night. Otherwise our stay was great.

My family and I had a wonderful time and the location was pristine. Certainly a wonderful place to stay lots of great restaurants in the area and beautiful nature surrounding the house was a major plus. I also appreciate Kyle's communication with us during the whole stay. Highly recommended and a great place to bring your family.
