House holiday rentals in West Sweden

I hosted one of my best friends bachelorette at GPH and we are so glad we did!! The weather was a little gloomy and cold but we had no idea because there was so much to do in the house. The pool was so large and warm, we definitely spent most our time in there. The karaoke and dress up were fun as well. Overall a great experience and loved the atmosphere!! Amazing vibes!

Great cozy cottage with resort amenities. We used the canoe and kayak and brought out own kayaks at the private lakes. Lots of quiet roads to bike and little destinations to get to - pool, beach, restaurant, golf course. We swam everyday in the lake or at the pool. Great location to explore- so many great little towns from St. Croix Falls to Danbury to Balsalm Lake to Spooner with a lot of food choices. We even caught a ton of panfish ( but threw most back) and had a fresh- caught meal.

Great place. Eric had wonderful recommendations for walkable restaurants and other things to do in the area. The yard and garage area were a hit. Very friendly host.

Linda's place was fantastic - as was Linda. She was incredibly responsive and worked really hard to get the pool up and running as quickly as possible during our stay (a gift considering the unusually hot weather we had in early May during our stay). The house was immaculate and had everything we needed in terms of kitchen supplies, toys for the kids, linens, and plenty of spaces for people to relax and unwind. We loved it so much we are hoping to either return to Linda's place one day or get a place of our own in Chippewa Falls.

It was cold one night and my kids wanted to have a swim after dark. Samantha's husband came over and turned the heat up on the pool to make sure we could have a swim and create some great memories. Samantha was extremely responsive and flexible with check-in time. Everything was clean and beautiful. They also had nice sound bars and subwoofers on both televisions to make movies on the big TVs that much better. My kids raved about how nice the house was and how much fun they were having. We had an excellent stay at the house! Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed walking across the street to eat at the club. The area is beautiful and we can’t wait to stay here again.

We used the Pool House for a leadership retreat. The accommodations were outstanding. The pool saw some use as one of the days was rainy and cool. The outdoor space was great for yard games and we made use of the tennis court. The house was spacious, clean, and items were easy to find. I would definitely recommend it for family vacations or a retreat.

The home was perfect for our group. It’s in a convenient location. The driveway was big enough to fit the 5 pickup trucks we had. It was nicely decorated and clean. The games, pool, and park nearby kept us busy. Everything was labeled and organized in the kitchen. There was a first aid kit which came in handy for a bandaid when a kiddo got an owie. The deck is super spacious for a large group. Jared & Amy were great to work with. One of the kids forgot a doll and they offered to ship it to us. That was very kind of them and very much appreciated. We would stay here again.

Sunset Shores is an absolute gem. From the moment we stepped inside, we knew we had found something special. The home is beautifully updated with a clean, modern design that still manages to feel incredibly cozy and welcoming. Every detail has been so thoughtfully considered — it’s clear that Sarah, the hosts, take great pride in offering an exceptional guest experience. The location was absolutely beautiful. Nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood but right on the Mississippi River, it offered the perfect balance of privacy and natural beauty. It was truly lovely to sit out on the deck or in the three-season porch and watch the river go by. The calming sound of the water and the serene surroundings made it easy to relax and unwind. I do not have enough space here to write everything I want about how wonderful this home was but I will just say Sarah the host was amazing to work with the houses and location are beautiful and I look very much forward to a future stay here.

I spent the weekend at their cabin and really enjoyed the stay. Did some cooking in their kitchen and they had every kitchen utensil I needed to make a quality 3 course meal. Would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Lodge. We enjoyed all the trails and the outdoor firepit. The lodge was awesome. Kitchen had everything you would want and then more. There were lamps on when we got there, and it was just so homey. It was very well stocked with necessities. We would definitely go back to this place.

we had a great time at living on the edge! even with 7 people, we still had plenty of space. the kitchen was very well stocked. we brought our own crock pot and didn't even need it because there was one supplied.

One of the Best Stays We've Ever Had! Our family of 6 (plus a baby and dog) had an incredible stay at this cabin. The open floor plan, warm and clean atmosphere, and stunning deck overlooking the lake made it feel like a true getaway. The fenced-in dog area, flat yard, and plenty of parking makes it perfect for families. The hosts thought of everything — from extra makeup wipes to firewood and s’mores kits. Even though we didn’t use it all, the attention to detail was amazing. Close to boat and pontoon rentals, with outdoor seating for meals, this place truly has it all. We can’t wait to come back — absolutely over-the-top in the best way!

We absolutely loved our short break at The Havens. The house layout functions brilliantly with lots of communal areas and spaces to relax. It feels newly finished, clean, contemporary and comfortable. We loved discussing evenings in getting of the fire in the porch, using the sauna and taking the kayaks out on the river. Lots to do in the area. we hope to visit again.

We loved our stay at LCO. It was nice and peaceful. We enjoyed relaxing on the dock and fishing. Brent was very helpful!

My 3 daughters and I came for a quilting getaway. The house was spectacular and clean. So peaceful and private. The perfect place to recharge. We all enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning off the lake. There were a few boats to watch as they fished. The deck seating was ideal for having some meals

Lisa & Pete's cabin was perfect! We booked this mini-vacation to get away post-school and busyness and it was the ideal spot to decompress. We enjoyed all of the amenities provided (outdoor toys, firepit) and the kayak. The kids loved fishing right off the dock for sunfish. Lisa was also very responsive with questions I had. This was a fantastic place to stay. It is right on the river and is in a very quiet neighborhood. There is a wonderful dock with the place and there is a marina with boat ramp and rentals about 500 feet away. We fished off of the dock all week and caught Drum, Walleye, and Perch. Hudson WI is 5 minutes away and Stillwater MN is about 15 minutes away. Both towns are full of good restaurants and shops.

If you are looking for an off the beaten track beautiful cozy cabin on a lake, this is for you. The cabin was spacious and comfortable , bird songs & baby ducks and geese on the lake. Oh and the sunsets- amazing. A peaceful retreat, Local restaurants very close by to enjoy. It was Lake life in Minnesota!!

Our family loved our stay at this beautiful lake home. Some of our favorites included: All the attention to detail- from skewers & firewood for roasting marshmallows to the delicious smelling bath products to everything you’d need for a great cup of coffee Truly designed for larger families- plenty of beds + seats for everyone The beautiful lake view- we spent most of our time in the backyard The garage with pool and foosball- our adult kids especially enjoyed this feature The decor- we felt right at home in this well designed space The lower level screened in porch- when not outside we were enjoying the view from there- it’s a great spot for morning coffee The accessibility of the lake- it’s quite shallow for a bit (up to knees) which made it easy for dunking. We also enjoyed the kayaks. We had groceries delivered from Walmart (better than the Cub in the area)- would recommend- easy and great to have a stocked fridge b/c you won’t want to leave

Susan was responsive to unique needs as we used this house for a running event. We were very pleased with the house and it met our needs.

Wonderful host! Jill was so great at communicating with us leading up to our stay and even afterwards! Place was very clean and much bigger than we expected! Very peaceful and secluded which is exactly what we were looking for! The garage was also a huge bonus!! So lovely! Would definitely come again!
