Visited Feb '25 Steep stairs {a delightful New England quirk} lead to a comfortable bed, quaint views out the window. Soft cottage core vibes. Eclectic design steeping in a life well lived. Wonderful kitchen, well stocked and easy to cook in. Shower pressure is adequate. Bathroom is clean and filled with an array of books and tchotchkes. Your eyes always have something to wander and examine. It's a maximalists dream. The book shelf in the living room is filled with old books some titles are expected due to surroundings and some are just plain fun. May I recommend a game of I spy Nina is quite fantastic. A spit fire. An attentive host. Hospitable and kind. She gave it a welcoming vibe. Meeting her animals was truthfully a highlight. They are even tempered and kind. Her horse is stunning & social. The donkey a goof. The mule is oh so friendly. Sheep a bit shy but non the less beautiful. Chickens? fluffy feet! The ducks were personable. The goats, joyful. Cat, adorable. Good workin dogs.

I am so glad I booked my stay here! Communication from the hosts was super clear and the apartment was clean, cozy, and the perfect place to rest after traveling. I especially loved getting to explore the local spots that are in walking distance from the apartment. My only regret is not being able to stay here longer!

We loved our stay here for a quick getaway to Portland. The apartment was cozy and walkable to shops and restaurants. Dimitry and Lana were great hosts and had great communication throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend this place and would love to return again!

Ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen und man kann Portland problemlos zu Fuss erkunden. Es hat viele Restaurants etc. in der Nähe, die Auswahl ist gross. Sharon und Eric waren perfekte Hosts und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Auch der private Parkplatz ist ein grosses Plus. Vielen Dank Sharon&Eric für einen super Aufenthalt und das wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Wir werden wieder kommen!

This is a lovely space in a good location. My only complaint is that the bed was really uncomfortable, so much so that I chose to sleep on the couch. Also, the in-window ac unit makes the street traffic very loud, basically like the window is wide open all night which in combination with the busy street was pretty noisy. Host was great, and the space was nice, I just wish the sleeping situation had been better.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Chris’s place was clean and comfortable. It’s a great location close to some wonderful restaurants and sites. We would highly recommend this property.

would 1000% stay here again! Dax was incredibly kind and hospitable, and the space itself was everything I needed for a week-long stay. Within easy walking distance to a lot of shops, restaurants, as well as the Eastern Promenade and bus stops. Absolutely loved my time here!

My husband & I really enjoyed our stay at Nicholas's place. Only a 5-min. drive to downtown so easy access to everything ($5 All Day Parking Lot at the end of Commercial St (near Becky's Diner) will save you a ton! Lots of great food (The Friendly Toast for amazing breakfast, Luke's for best lobster rolls, Coffee Me Up for lattes/bfast sammies). There is a cute coffee/smoothie shop (The Conscious Cup) right next door to the air bnb. An ice cream shop &Thai restaurant also right there. Do a trolley tour that goes to the Portland Head Light & take the ferry to Peak's Island for a nice boat ride. Some traffic noise being located right at the corner but nothing extreme. Getting in/out was easy, but the light by our stairs was out so we walked up carefully at night. Extra bedding/towels were mentioned but only a fitted sheet, pillowcases&a new pillow at the back of the utility closet were present. The extra bed pillows/fitted sheet saved us as night. Convenient smart TV. Overall A!:)

This BnB was perfect - about 15 minutes from Portland. It was super peaceful, and we felt right at home; we never felt unsafe. The people in the area were also very kind and helpful as we didn’t know much about the area! :)

This lovely property was perfect for us. The host really knows how to “think like a guest” and has anticipated what will make you feel comfortable and at home with numerous little extras. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the bed and furniture were comfortable. Will definitely book on our next visit.

It was such a pleasure staying in this home with so much local charm & character! These hosts obviously care to create a unique & enjoyable experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Tom’s apartment. It is unquestionably a five-star rental. It is clean and comfortable with many amenities and the location is perfect with restaurants, venues and attractions only a 5-20 minute walk away. Check in, check out and parking instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Tom also provided a printed guide book with details for the apartment as well as suggestions for things to do and see in Portland which was very helpful and appreciated. We highly recommend and hope to be back soon to do some more exploring!

The unit is rustic, will not be to everyone's taste, but it's unusually spacious and tucked away from all traffic noise, not to mention walking distance from downtown and the Old Port. Lots of places to eat! Easy to find a parking spot on the street. All we ever heard from outside were children playing and birds. The stairs are steep, so not advised for those not fit or who have balance issues, and it takes awhile for the heat to warm up the place on colder nights (though it does get there). But Sharon is responsive and accommodating. We enjoyed her little perks like Swedish Fish.

Jessica's place looked recently remodeled, clean and beautiful. it was easy to find and easy to get in and out of. I highly recommend it.

Our stay at The Bee Keepers Cottage was amazing. The property met our needs perfectly and it was super cute and cozy. The host was very responsive and communicative. And for any star gazers out there, the sky on a clear night is mesmerizing.

David and Valle’s house is welcoming, and it was just right for our family get-together. The kitchen is very well set up for cooking, and the counter is both beautiful and a great place for gathering and conversation. There are many lovely touches in the house. We appreciated the yard and gardens, and our dog loved the walking trail. The location is peaceful but just a few minutes from Portland. David communicated well and offered helpful ideas for our visit.

Stayed here for 5 days. Cozy, welcoming, and clean. Ashanti and James were excellent hosts and very responsive to questions. If we return to the area we’ll definitely see if they have openings!

Nice stay, nice host, lots of recommendations in binder for things to do. Nice hot tub. Cozy place and location. DQ right across the street.

Beautiful, quaint spot! We had a very quick stopover but it was perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub after a long day on the road. Would definitely recommend Ren’s place!

141 Studio was perfect for a couple for a few days near downtown Portland. The studio is great. Dan has renovated it in great style. The kitchen was great for our purposes. The layout of the studio was great for our purposes. Having the washer and dryer was extremely helpful and made our 10 day total trip work well. I cannot say enough good things about the studio and Dan's preparation of it. The scale only goes to five, but it is a ten. Thank you Dan.

Melissa’s unit is clean, nicely laid out, and close to many restaurants and activities. She has two beautiful cats, and they’re allowed in the room. So if you’re sensitive to cat hair be aware. Melissa was friendly and helpful.

Great Airbnb! Clean, spacious, and comfortable. Excellent kitchen with every amenity you could want. Nicely decorated. Nice residential neighborhood. We were able to walk to a few restaurants and were close to the beautiful Back Cove trail.
