Holiday rentals with a home theatre in Western Cape

It was a beautiful places for the family. Its literally right by the beach, playground, miniature golf, restaurant's, caffees, and little shops. If one, doesn't have a car, there is a train in walking distance, that stops in every little town. The neighborhood is clean and friendly, we never felt unsafe. The view from the window is breathtaking, mountains and the beach. The sun does not shine right onto the side of the house and it does get a bit cold, but there were many blankets provided. We had a fantastic time. If more families stay, I would recommended plastic plates and cups for kids, as I personally was always afraid of breaking the nice ceramics. For longer staying guests, I wish an extra sheet for the bed would be provided, to change sheets after a while. Enough towels were provided. All in all totally recommenable.

We couldn't ask for a better view on beautiful Table Mountain. The apartment was spotless and well fitted with everything you need and beautifully decorated. Many restaurants and shops in the area as well and an easy enough drive to Cape Town. Wendy was a responsive host and provided additional information and weather updates. We will book it again!

We enjoyed our stay. Good location for us as family nearby. We used the pool. Everyone was friendly and the security sorted us out with facial recognition to get through the barriers. Good communication from hosts. We will use again when we visit.

A perfect summer getaway! Right in the middle of vibe-y holiday-makers and beach goers and yet still secluded and chilled. The apartment is beautifully decorated, we were entranced! And the fact that it’s a stone’s throw away from some of the city’s most beautiful beaches, 2 ice-cream shops and the most delicious smash-burgers we’ve ever had…we’ll definitely be back!

This venue is the cleanest-whites, safest , modern place, with squirrels eating infront of you in a beautiful maintained garden , birds. we have a lovely stay at Katie's place. We are a big family and had lots of space to spread out and enjoy our stay. There is a lot to keep everyone entertained. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

We needed a peaceful family get away. Melkbos Lodge was perfect for us. Dirk was helpful. Location was great. We are a big family of adults and this suited us. Lots to do at the house. pool and table tennis table. pool table, and the beach and sunsets fantastic. Suggestion: Umbrella for beach and beach chairs would be a good investment. Also a list of activities to do around Melkbos and Blauberg. We hope to visit again some time.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was absolutely stunning – beautifully designed and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our group of four families. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The host was super responsive and helpful, quickly addressing any issues that came up. The location was great, close to everything we needed, and the overall vibe of the place was just perfect. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Tuis en Tevrede. The house is spacious, well appointed, secure; perfectly suited for a large family or gathering, and very well set up for entertaining. Amazing communication with the (very friendly) hosts—with an excellent written guidance note for the house—made arriving, setting up, and settling in extremely easy. And the responsiveness to the occasional question, and flexibility at the margins, made for an easy and relaxed time all around. I’d recommend staying here without hesitation.

We had an amazing stay at Palm Rock in Simon’s Town. The location is unbeatable — stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and just a short walk to the beach. The house is stylish, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Gunnar was a fantastic host — super friendly, helpful. If you’re looking for a serene getaway on the Cape Peninsula, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back!

SPECTACULAR! A diamond in a slice of heaven. We are already booking to come back and stay later this year. Jitesh is an amazing host and made us feel right at home. His beautiful apartment in Dolphin Beach is just wonderful - with real plants, a filtered water system, and a fully stocked kitchen. The views are what make life worth living. To fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the ocean was bliss. PLUS Jitesh's WiFi is SUPER FAST AND works during loadshedding so the apartment is perfect if you are working from home between kite sessions! Jitesh was really communicative, very welcoming, and not only did we have a fabulous stay, but we made a new friend! This is definitely one of my top 5 ever Airbnb experiences. I cannot recommend Jitesh's home enough. We miss it already!

The apartment was just as described. Rick and Donald were great. The apartment was warm, lovely sun drenched lounge. It felt like a home away from home. Underground parking and the onsite laundry was very convenient. The best part is that the apartment block is right on the beach. We always felt safe. Highly recommended.

The unit was close to shopping centers for convenience and just a short walk from the beach. It was the ideal base for a family holiday. I had a great 8 week stay in this apartment. Have been using Airbnb for more than 10 years and Natalie was the friendliest and most helpful ever. Great host! Because I have visited the area several times, I'm self relient, but if I had needed anything, it was very clear that I could count on her for local advise and help. The place is compact, but just right for 1 or 2 people. Can not think of a single negative thing to mention. In 8 weeks I never heard the neighbors and saw them maybe 4 times, but if you want there are plenty people to meet in the pool, garden, or on the beach. With the windows open, because of the sea breeze, it never gets uncomfortably warm, in the day or night. (unlike other places in Cape Town) This is the best kite spot in the area (and in the world if you ask me) And here it's right in your back yard. Plenty of Shopping and restay at walking distance, but I recommend renting a car, for ultimate convenience.
