The famous Dovedale beauty-spot is easily accessible straight from the cottage. There are 2 good cycling trails close by where you can hire bikes or if you bring your own we have a secure bike store.A very warm welcome awaits!

Alstonefield, Peak District National Park

Elm cottage is a great place to escape to and explore the Peak District including Thors Cave, Hartington, Tissington and Mam Tor. Local pubs, cafes and shops are excellent, just a short drive away and public footpaths from on site. We have some local walks from site on National Trust land. Away from the hustle and bustle, this peaceful spot has unrivalled far reaching views of the peaks and your own bench outside to enjoy them, or the stars! Dovedale, Milldale and Hartington all wonderful attractions all within 10 mins. NOTE - No WIFI available at the cottage.

Bertie's Shepherds Hut

Our cosy hut is the perfect way to enjoy a stay in the Peak district national park, set in the heart of the village of Alstonefield its surrounded by stunning walks and must visit locations! The hut is set in a private area of our campsite, with a full size double bed, kitchen, seating and dining area with outside seating, balcony and firepit. The little hut is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break including bedding and firewood so all you need to do is arrive!!
