Holiday rentals with beach access in Weymouth

The beach hut is a perfect retreat. It is beautifully kept and has a gorgeous private garden which goes right up to the water’s edge. It’s wonderfully located less than 5 minutes walk from the main Sandbanks beach and Rick Stein’s restaurant. The Studland chain ferry is also very close giving access to stunning Shell Bay and the wild National Trust beaches. Michele was very friendly & provided many thoughtful touches including her homemade lemon drizzle cake - sublime! I would love to return as it’s a perfect spot from which to explore this area or just to meditate on your bed with a sea view. Thanks Michele!

The accommodation was perfect for our needs. It had everything we needed for a short break It was clean, modern and comfortable. Dave provided clear instructions about how to check in, and we were aware thst we could contact him should the need arise. We will be recommending this accommodation to friends and family.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean upon arrival, bright and comfortable. Quiet at night. Nice views from the living area over the harbor and looking over the town from the large bedroom. As Suzanne had noted in the listing, there is no assigned parking space which could be an issue. We had to pay to park the day of arrival. It’s free after 6pm until 8am. One item we’d suggest adding would be a clothes hanger for drying as the machine didn’t seem to actually dry anything. We’d highly recommend Seagulls restaurant (book in advance). Unassuming place but food was excellent. We also liked Platform for a Sunday roast and Rise for breakfast. The George was decent. If we’re back in West Bay, we’d definitely stay again.

Great location, with amenities - and views across Charmouth to the sea - just as shown in photos. Just 10 minutes or so wander downhill to the sea and only half a mile from the village centre with a good (early until 9.00pm) convenience store, small bakery, pharmacy and pubs. Lots of coastal and inland walks within relatively short drives and easy access to Lyme Very responsive host.

Sally was a great host. We had clear instructions how to get there, where to park & get the keys. The flat is just as described but the view is even better. We had a great 2 day stay with everything we needed. Short walk to restaurants & beach front. Will definitely stay again.

Sebastian’s flat is in a perfect location. I chose it as my husband can’t walk long distances and everything was really nearby. No need to use the car if you want a break from driving. Beautifully comfortable, with lots of extras provided. We’ll be back! Thank you x

Lovely spacious apartment, everything you need. Close to the beach and other amenities. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Sam was a great host, very attentive and polite!

We stayed here in early June and loved the place. We were slightly perturbed that the sea view overlooked the Oasis Shop/Cafe small car park but in fact this was not noisy nor did it spoil the view. It is literally a 20 yard walk to the steep pebbled beach (some sand at low tide) and half an hour's walk to Weymouth pier along the promenade. There is also a frequent bus service. The accommodation is immaculate, having the living area upstairs. Everything we needed was provided - even an electric toothbrush charger in the bathroom. We spent many an hour on the balcony with drinks watching the swimmers, surfers, sailors and spotting the commercial/navy ships which often anchored in the bay. We had many a happy days out in the Weymouth area and were able to leave the car parked outside all the ten days as we used the bus services. We hope to return in the near future.

The house is in a great location and neighborhood, beautiful views of the sea with the beach a 5 minute walk, there is even a lift down to the beach if needed. House was well equipped, very clean with clear instructions. Lots to do with great walks and shops nearby. Would highly recommend for a relaxing time in a very comfortable house with a great location!

We are home after a Mon- Fri half term break at Admiral’s Watch, and we have had a wonderful time. Before we arrived we had clear directions from Nicky along with a really helpful list of recommendations for places to go with the kids. Getting to the property was easy and it was great to have a dedicated parking spot. The area is peaceful and completely beautiful. The small precinct of shops/ restaurants within the terrace was useful and didn’t intrude on our stay at all. The property itself is beautiful and just like the photos- the sea is right in front of the apartment making the views amazing. Nicky has styled the property beautifully and there was plenty of space for us as a family of four plus our dog. Activity wise I would recommend a trip to nearby Hurst Castle, and a meal at the Cliff House restaurant which was a short stroll away. Totally recommended, we had a great stay. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Chesil Cove . Our third stay at Greyjoys. Comfortable, clean, everything you need is provided. An ideal spot for discovering this area. We’ll be coming back again soon.

I was actually disappointed when I first arrived. I had booked a "stunning harbourside cottage" only to discover this cottage is not by the harbour. However, the stunning part is accurate. It is a really lovely property that has been lovingly made into a home-from-home. Once you get over not being by the harbour, it is in a good location that is accessible to all Weymouth has to offer. We had a fabulous stay and would absolutely go back. Tim is a delightful and dedicated host.

Fabulous place, fantastic views from living room and master bedroom, perfect place. Such a great location just across the road from the beach and a few minutes walk from the harbour and town centre. The sound of the pebbles washing up the beach lulled us to sleep. Thank you Anna!

We had a great stay. The flat was as described and well set up for a toddler. There were even toys to play with.

We spent two wonderful weeks in this outstanding flat and enjoyed it from the very first moment. Anna was incredibly helpful and friendly even before we booked, and supported us with any questions or concerns we had during our stay. We couldn't have wished for better hosts in Weymouth. The flat is excellently equipped. You'll find everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout, and the bed was large and comfortable. We loved being so close to the beach and being able to go for a lovely stroll whenever we fancied. Supermarkets, restaurants, and a bus stop are right next to the building, providing everything one might need for a stay. You should definitely stay here – we loved it!

Very sweet little cottage, beautifully decorated with everything you would need inside of it. Great location, with a nice pub down the road. We would definitely stay here again and recommend for all. The only downside is that it is situated on a busy road so at night you can sometimes hear the cars, but we didn’t mind.

A very tasteful modern and pristine apartment with the most amazing views along the Jurassic Coast - what a place to relax. It is reasonably close to the beautiful town of Lyme Regis walking however the return journey is challenging and is not for everyone. It is so convenient though for the many walking routes in the area which we really enjoyed. Thanks Melanie and David for wonderful stay ( loved your new lawn mower David, we might have to get one too! )
