This retreat offers an experience in comfort & sustainability. You will be 5 to 15 km from some of NZ's great expansive white sandy beaches, stunning walks, cafes & outdoor pursuits. Your accommodation is half of the main house. It is completely closed off for your privacy with private access & outdoor deck. BBQ by request. Not suitable for children

Away from the hustle bustle, enjoy this quiet serene spot. The property is well off the highway and the neighbouring orchards screen us from traffic noise. The cottage is nestled between small avocado and mixed fruit orchards, with a view out to the small pond and post’n’rail fenced paddocks beyond. Last minute bookings are usually no problem - we respond quickly. Relax with the family (with up to 3 children) in this organic permaculture lifestyle block with animals that love being fed.

Perfect for cold winter evenings as well with an indoor wood fire.

The Block

This is a unique private rural getaway set on nearly 2 acres. Tucked away off the main road down a long driveway into the property. There is space galore outside for boat and trailer parking with easy access. Lots of grassed areas to enjoy. Close to the village, and the Heads are 10 minutes drive away. This home is warm and cosy with log burner and heat pump whichever you prefer. The Property has a shallow waterway at the back of the house down in the bush so please supervise children.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Two complete houses on two sections bordering each other, overlooking the beautiful vista that is our river. Boat ramp nearby, large spa pool on expansive deck, both properties fenced and a gate adjoining the two, tiny northland town, house one sleeps four and house two sleeps 10. Full wooden cot and baby bath provided, fibre unlimited internet in both houses, and lovely grassed area as well. Ducks and chickens your hosts.

A lovely fully equipped modern cottage in a rural setting on the beautiful Kaipara Harbour (only 90 mins north of Auckland). Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.
