Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Whitehorse City

The house was beautiful- very light and airy with lots of space. My family were sharing with my sister and her family - we all enjoyed our stay in the house - lots of room for us all to spread out. The house was extremely clean and tidy when we arrived. It was very easy to access the trams and shops from the house. The area that the house was in was beautiful and very quiet - after a busy day sightseeing it was lovely to come back and relax in. The swimming pool is solar powered but we had hot weather whilst there so were able to use it. Would absolutely recommend this house.

We had a wonderful few days at Tanja’s place. We were welcomed by a warm toasty fire. The house was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Diane was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

This home is a great place for someone traveling for business or a family enjoying a holiday in Melbourne. It has everything one needs in a home, close to public transportation to town, a nice village for restaurants, fast food, minor shopping and excellent coffee shops. When back in Melbourne, if available, I would definitely stay in Erynn’s home

Spent 3 nights here at Ben’s lovely place. There’s so many rooms and it’s suitable for large groups. So many amenities and games such as a pool table and table tennis table. Lots of board games as well. Nothing to fault and we had a fantastic stay here. Recommended for everyone!

A beautiful comfortable apartment. Clean, airy and spacious. Good heating for the Melbourne chilly evenings. We appreciated the thoughtful extra items in the fridge, pantry and bathroom. It felt safe and the street was quiet. Parking at the rear was easy. You do need to access a flight of stairs to get to the front and back doors. We have stayed in many apartments in Kew/Hawthorn over the last 5 years and this is one of the best so far. Thank you Marie and Lex!

We had a wonderful stay with our 2 toy poodles. The flat was beautifully styled. We could walk to some wonderful cafes and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend.

Fabulous spacious apartment with an excellent design that allows for cooking, dining, seperate lounge space, two generous sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Set up very nicely and beds were comfortable and clean. Great heating and very functional kitchen. Easy to come and go from as well. The hosts were super responsive and ensured we knew how to use the space and clarified any questions quickly.

The host was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They were attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a great stay at The Gratis! The location was easy to find and very convenient, with food options and supermarkets nearby. The house itself was spacious, modern, and well-furnished—perfect for our family of seven. The host was friendly and responsive, providing help whenever we needed it. The apartment was well presented, clean and cosy. It is located on a quiet corner with cafes, a local supermarket, chemist and lots of parking on street when we needed to come in and out. The roof top was a plus with nice views and pleasant breeze for sunset coffees and drinks. The host responded promptly when we needed to change our booking due to fires in the outer region and we felt we were looked after well. When we didn’t want to drive public transport was very accessible. Highly recommended

The place is great, very clean and Steve is a great host. Steve is extremey responsive and considerate. The house is very close to nature and we really enjoyed the spa specially our son. The only thing that could be improvide is the kitchen and its preparedness to host guests who plan to cook for exemple having more utensilis.

House was big & spacious. Enough room for all of us. It was in nice & quiet neighbourhood. Good 25 minutes ride to city. Good host.

Heritage Retreat’s property was amazing. Can fit so many people and although we loved our stay in the middle of winter, this property can be so enjoyable in the summer. Great and responsive staff. Highly recommend!

Beautifully appointed and thoughtfully decorated little spot in a fantastic location! It’s small, but much larger than the pictures suggest - never cramped, just cozy. The kitchen is more than appropriate for cooking, and the entertainment system is fantastic with solid speakers that are always appreciated. It’s incredibly close to the main Sassafras strip, which does lead to a small amount of traffic noise especially if you’re sitting outside, but the road is very quiet at night and the doors and windows isolate well so it never bothered us. Being able to walk to dinner and not have to drive home is well worth the trade off in my eyes! My partner and I also greatly appreciated the spa bathtub, and the fact that you can watch a movie while in it thanks to the thoughtfully planned layout. All in all, a great little spot that I would gladly return to.
