Our 200 sqft rustic A-frame cabin on a 10 acre property with soaker tub, natural swimming pond and 2 excited off leash dogs. The cabin is in a private spot 150 feet from the main house, and a 300 foot walk from parking. Cabin features a double bed in the loft, and a convertible couch. Kitchen is fully functioning with fridge, stove, cookware, dishes, soap and linens. Water is a jug/bucket system. Toilet is a sawdust bucket composting toilet. Heated by wood stove. 25 minutes from Falcon Lake.

The stay was fantastic. Katie was an extremely kind and responsive host, answering all questions. The place is great for a large family or big group of friends to enjoy the lake front property with easy accessibility for a swim or to fish. The sun room provides ample space for drinks in the evening and visiting with family and friends. The fully stock kitchen is perfect for breakfast and dinner along with the huge dining table with ample sitting room for everyone. Overall was a fantastic stay and a place we would highly consider again in the future.

This is the second time we've stayed with Adele and Glen. Their place has a great location, had everything we needed and was a great deal. I especially like the big screen projector TV with the full hockey package! We hope to return soon.

We had an amazing weekend getaway! The location is fantastic with the riverfront property, a good sized yard for playing yard games and your not close to other properties. The cabin was nice and clean, and everything about it made for a very relaxing weekend!

Almost Home cottage is a gem, situated in the beautiful Whiteshell provincial park. The views of the lake, rock and trees from within the cottage are simply beautiful, and they only get better from the various decks and docks. The cabin is very well outfitted … from kayaks and SUPs for those wishing to adventure, to the kitchen (a popcorn maker! amongst myriad other small appliances), to the bathroom with shampoo/conditioner/body washes, to the huge screen tvs and board games for rain days, to the completely zen decor. We also made use of the fire pit for s’mores a couple of evenings, and watched the moon rise over the lake while enjoying our fire. Swimming off the dock was also top notch, a beautiful place to lake swim. This was one of our favourite vacations. … we already reserved for next year!!
