Chalet holiday rentals in Whitsand Bay

Our first time using Airbnb and Maggie made it very easy. Lovely little chalet with beautiful views. Maggie was responsive to messages and all her instructions were very clear. We had a great week and my young children loved it. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Chalet is clean, welcoming and in a great place with wonderful views. Chalet is well equipped for catering and comfortable for relaxing. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Nick’s chalet and we look forward to visiting again next year

A great location to use as a base for the surrounding areas of North Cornwall, we visited, Tintagel, Boscastle, Rock, Polzeath, Wadebridge & Padstow all easy journeys and quick to get to. The lodge was lovely, clean and fresh with many thoughtful additional touches by the hosts, 5* communication and thoroughly recommended.... you will not be disappointed!

The accommodation was spotlessly clean and spacious. Alison responded to messages within minutes. She was extremely flexible with arrival times and made sure everything was to our expectations. The location was perfect with my son working at the Orangery and being close to the ferry to Plymouth. Close proximity to the beach, great walks with our dogs. Thank you Alison xx

Easy to get to using post code. Views were fabulous, caravan clean only downside was beleagured with flies, however, they were on front window inside van but did not bother us regards being around us or on food etc but I think maybe a citronella candle or similar would help. Flies I presume are down to being on a working farm but in the van they do need looking into. The holiday itself was great and couldn't have asked for better weather and beaches nearby for dogs to go on, downside is the lanes are very narrow and you need to be careful of oncoming traffic and tractors. Plenty of hot water and beds were very comfortable for a caravan, bonus there :-) Overall experience was great and we would use the caravan again but must remember to bring citronella candle or fly spray and lots of it lol but we would like to say this is not non starter just a slight blip and the hosts have a nice part of Cornwall and its quiet and serene with great views nice and relaxing

The chalet is placed in the middle of a holiday village, directly next to the tennis/volleyball net and the swings. Our children enjoyed the spot because there were always plenty of other children around, playing until 10 pm. The chalet itself is cosy, with a bit of a vintage touch and the atmosphere of many happy family holidays, well equipped with games and sports equipment for outdoors. The kitchen and furniture is a little old-fashioned as well, so it make take some time until pans and pots are heated on the old electric cooking oven, but when you are not in a rush, that will do. The beds (also the kids’!) were extraordinary comfortable. So we enjoyed our stay very much. Laura, our host gave us many useful hints for beaches and places to go. Camelford is a good home base for some main site in Cornwall and wherever you go you can enjoy the coastal scenery. We really appreciated our stay.

A lovely stay in a great location close to Bodmin but in quiet surroundings. Bonus of having the use of the gym, pool and other facilities at the Holiday Park. A couple of small things, it would have been useful to have a pair of oven gloves, a baking tray and more than one tea towel

What a gorgeous location. We loved the beaches as Tregonhawke and Sharrow and also enjoyed exploring Rame Head, Cawsands and Kingsands. Our favourite part of Cornwall, so accessible from Plymouth and yet feels so remote and far from the crowds. The views from St David's are stunning, the cabin clean and comfortable, perfect for our short break.

Lovely place to stay in a beautiful area, perfect for our short break. Lots of walking, food and drink but so much more we could have explored - we need to stay longer next time!

We stayed here a week and were so lucky with the weather. The chalet was clean and very well equipped and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the sea views, watching all kinds of craft sail by and the beautiful sunsets. For us we found the perfect balance of relaxation and activity. So many walks from the door. We returned home refreshed, thank you for sharing this perfect little hideaway by the sea.

Booked Driftwood for a 3 night stay to celebrate special birthday. It did not disappoint, we absolutely loved it wished we could have stayed longer. The view is beautiful and ever changing, so much interest. Lovely walks on the doorstep. Stunning trio of beaches. We had our elderly dog with us so swam twice a day on the main Bovisands beach which was was a lovely gentle 5 mins walk away. I should add that sea glass hunting on the beach immediately in front of the chalet was amazing! The chalet was warm, clean, really well equipped, lovely little kitchen, great shower, comfy bed and delightful lounge diner. Highly likely that we will be back. Thank you.

It was so lovely to arrive ,open the door and be wowed by the place , it was comfortable and clean and Susanne had left some nice treatsfor us .she was available to contact for any questions and very friendly ,i would definately recomend her

This was our first trip as a family of three and Eszter’s place was just what we were looking for! It had everything we needed, with a beautiful view and wonderful walks. Highly recommend it!

We had everything we needed here and really enjoyed our stay. Not only a sea view, but we could even hear the sea. A perfect stopover for coastpath walkers. We enjoyed meeting Rob and Karen. They were very helpful and easy to communicate with.
