House holiday rentals in Wickersley

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great initial communication with Steven and throughout. he proactively got in touch shortly before the stay and we easily arranged the check-in time as he was going to meet me at the property. I was closer to the end of window I said I'd be, but he was ready and waiting at the property. Had a nice chat about my journey and plans for the weekend, learning a little of Stevens history also, before a quick house tour. The house is easily accessible and I was lucky with the parking, finding a roadside spot directly outside, did appear to be parking up and down the street also. The house was clean and tidy. Very well stocked kitchen though I didn't use any of the tea/coffee/jams though I didn't use any of them. Overall, felt like a comfortable stay, home from home. Only downside was the heat and lack of a fan though in this British weather a fan would likely just push the warm air around the house 🤣

Ricky’s property is amazing and spotless clean. There’s enough parking to fit 3 cars. There’s a Tesco 14 mins walk away or a 3 mins drive. Very peaceful place with a badminton court. I’ve stayed at a lot of properties and Ricky’s bungalow is definitely top 2. I highly recommend!

A beautiful house, and a great host. The property was just like the description and photos. Great for us as we have family close by. Dean was brilliant at keeping in touch and came back whenever I messaged him. Will certainly book again. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Fiona was the perfect host, so friendly & understanding. The house is beautifully decorated, clean & inviting. The bedding was fresh & clean. The location is perfect for the park & Sheffield near by & the garden is so peaceful & private. Fiona was very accommodating & flexible. We enjoyed Lewis’ property immensely and felt totally relaxed and right at home from the moment we arrived. Lovely place from which to relax and explore the local towns, villages and countryside. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay in Todwick with our children, their partners, my mother & my dog. Lots of space for all of us. The lads enjoyed the games room. We all enjoyed some nice local walks and the pub at the end of the road was good for food. Would recommend. Only thing to note is the back garden is not enclosed so you have to keep a close eye on your dog whilst outside.

a quiet area with shops on the doorstep. towels and cleaning products provided which was very helpful.

Absolutely gorgeous property, all the facilities/amenities you could want. Beds are comfy and all the electrical goods are easy to use. Highly recommend this place as a base for exploring Thurnscoe and the surrounding areas. Lovely, green space just opposite with a small park. Short walk into the village. Hosts were really proactive, making sure we had all the instructions to make our stay a smooth and relaxing one.

My stay at winking owl cottage was very nice. It is a lovely little cottage kept clean and inviting, would go again.

Gareth's place was no frills, comfy stay. We only stayed for a night and it worked for us. Really easy check in and out and great communication. Good price for what we got

We had a lovely stay at Karl’s place for a week when in the area for work. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed and the rooms were comfortable, though for us ladies it’s worth noting that there isn’t mirrors in the bedrooms but there is a big one in the living room that I used for my make up.

This was an ideal spot,close to ameneties but very quiet. The bed was lovely and comfortable, the whole place spotless. We highly recommend it.

We had a lovely couple of days at the house. It’s been renovated to a high standard, we were so impressed by how spacious, clean and modern the place was. Kathryn was great a communicating and very responsive. Thank you!
