Hall Yards Cottage

TracyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely little cottage. The attention to detail and the welcome pack made us feel at home straight away. Even the dog was included with a blanket and water bowl. It’s in an excellent location to explore Hadrian’s Wall and the Roman forts, as well as Corbridge and Hexham, both worth a visit. These are only a short drive away from the village of Wall itself, which is very picturesque and peaceful. All in all we had a great break in a great place.

Seahorse Cottage - Newbiggin by the Sea

SusanRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Beautiful cottage. Very well equipped - all you could ask for and more. Spotlessly clean and spacious. A bathroom to die for. A wee bit more expensive than some but worth every penny. Situated in centre of village so was handy for everything and only a stones throw from the beach. Lovely to have milk and biscuits to welcome us and a friendly greeting on a blackboard 😀 Plenty free parking available beside the cottage. Host, Lorna, very prompt at replying and sharing useful information. I would certainly recommend this stay.

Clutter Cottage in High Hauxley, Northumberland

SarahRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at Clutter Cottage in Northumberland – such a beautiful part of the world with easy access to stunning beaches and the dramatic coastline. The local seafood spot in Amble that was recommended was excellent – well worth a visit. Michael and Sarah are fantastic hosts. The cottage was immaculately clean and really thoughtfully prepared – the kitchen was well stocked, with lovely touches like local tea, coffee, and biscuits to welcome us. There were even treats ready for Rudy, our dog, which was much appreciated. The outdoor seating areas were perfect for a summer stay, with peaceful views across open fields – ideal for relaxing in the evenings. We’d happily return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Clutter Cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable escape in a gorgeous part of the country.

Cosy getaway in beautiful Northumberland.

We had a lovely stay at Little Armstrong, it is immaculate and feels very homely. The peace and quiet of the rural setting was a welcome break away. Lesley Ann is a perfect host very easy to chat with and very considerate with the hamper of goodies she provided at no extra cost. The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful and the cottage was lovely and warm not to mention the location was perfect for all we were doing whilst away. We will definitely be booking again when we next visit Northumberland therefore we highly recommend it.

Great location. A really cosy country retreat. Very well appointed kitchen...equipped for real cooking! Very responsive hosts before & during our stay. Lots of helpful pre-visit information supplied, especially good places to eat like the Fish Shack at Amble & The Angler's Arms in Weldon - both dog and dog owner friendly!

Lakeside Cottage - Emily

We cannot reccomend a stay at capheaton estate highly enough. A beautiful cottage, with comfortable and luxurious finishing touches in incredibly peaceful surroundings, responsive and helpful hosts. Such a wonderful place to relax, away from the busy world, but close to some great pubs and within reach of key attractions. Would happily stay again.
