Lake house holiday rentals in Williamstown

The outdoor space/view was better than the pictures indicated. The white lounge chairs in the pictures were not present, but the outdoor space did have a large table with six swivel bar-height chairs. Listing doesn’t specify - large gas grill with propane provided! The bedrooms get quite bright and there are blinds but not curtains - plan accordingly for little kids. Property Manager was great/attentive. Kitchen was well stocked in terms of bakeware, tools but there was not spices/oil/etc.

Private location, looks like the picture, clean and spotless, great coffee, good price. I’ve been to many airbnb’s and this place was exactly as described. The hosts were quick and great communicators. The gravel road down will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle that is not low to the ground but that’s isn’t their fault. It’s a state owned road. I 100% would recommend staying here. Will rebook in future!! Thanks for an actual relaxing stress free stay.

Amanda and Elyssa’s place is beautiful! A very warm and comfortable atmosphere. Great location for exploring the local attractions. The best part was coming back to hang out and fish at the pond. Being from AZ, we all loved being right next to water! The house was spacious enough for our family of 5 and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hope to be back someday!

This was a great place for our last minute stay. The kids loved the spiral stairs. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The location was perfect and quiet. Huge decks for outdoor dining. Would definitely recommend for a short or extended stay.

This place was super cozy and perfect for a weekend vacation. The pictures of the lake and docks don’t do it justice. Our host however did not mention the cleaning responsibilities we had until the day before check out. This resulted in a scramble to get everything together before check out and a $100 additional cleaning fee. Other than that all was smooth!

Excellent stay. Beds were incredibly comfortable with excellent linens. Very well stocked with instructions/information on everything thing she had available to use. The only thing that may need to be a little more clear is that the house is fairly remote and the driveway has a large slope on a hill. We didn't mind at all but others may. We enjoyed fishing and caught a few small catfish and blue gill. As with any outdoor space in the summer there is poison ivy and lots of mosquitoes. We would definitely stay again.

This stay has been extremely exceptional! From the clear and accessible communication with the host to the serene and peaceful atmosphere, I would not think twice to stay here again. The rooms are spacious and the history is remarkable. I can’t express how grateful I am to the owners and the host for their hospitality and service!

We lost our home to fire and stayed at the lake house for about 2 months. Evan was very attentive, caring and helpful. Such a beautiful home, and the view of the lake is outstanding! We're hoping to comeback when it's warmer for a weekend getaway! Thank you for everything!!!!

We had a great time at the cottage! It was the perfect space for us to meet our adult children and have some time together! If we are back in the area again we will rebook with Greg!

My family enjoyed the lake and the house. It was roomy enough for us all and was convenient to the ark encounter.

We really enjoyed our stay in Katherine’s house. Katherine and Barb were very accessible and proactive. It was just as described and very well laid out. The kitchen living room space was perfect to hang out in and visit with each other. It was well stocked with anything and everything we could possibly need. The outdoor space is truly an oasis! I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area. We would definitely stay there again if we are back in the area!

This was the perfect place for our two families to stay with the destination of The ARK Encounter/Creation Museum. It was very peaceful, beautiful view of the lake, amazing front porch to relax on. Would highly recommend this home to stay in. Rachael was extremely timely and helpful. Excellent customer service!

This year was our second time at this home and everything was wonderful. We enjoy it every time we visit and appreciate our time there. Debra was wonderful and very helpful during our stay. we will definitely be back again!!

We LOVED our stay at the Old Home Place. It accommodated all of our family with plenty of space. Eric was responsive and helpful. The home and yard was wonderful for all of the kids along with a beautiful view. We especially enjoyed sipping coffee on the back deck overlooking the pond. Would highly recommend this place and would stay again.

We had our family reunion at this place. Ages 1-90 enjoyed gathering at this property.

The lake house was perfect for our family. Beautiful views of the lake, herons. and geese that come to the lake. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed meals on the screened porch. Other family members rented the Stone House and it was a great weekend to swim, relax in the hot tubs, play cornhole and be together.

Myself and three friends stayed at the Stagg House during our visit to the bourbon trail. Private and peaceful location along the Kentucky river. Perfect place to stay during our visit to the area.
