The fully separate home is located on our property offering a great space for a couple or a couple with small children. We are located 10 minutes from the East Gate entrance to Algonquin Provincial Park that offers interpretive trails, museums and vast lakes and rivers for day or overnight canoeing trips. Algonquin Parks has much to offer and would encourage you to visit their website. The town of Whitney is about five minutes from our home. Amenities offered; restaurants, gas stations, Pharmacy, post office, grocery store, beer/liquor store, outfitters for canoe rentals and gift store. A beautiful sandy beach and children's playground are located in town.

It is a 10 min hike to the Escarpment Lookout, and roughly a 25 min hike to your canoe on a small lake. No service, no electricity, no plumbing, no problems. "Kabinka" is the name of our eastern European inspired Chalet. She is unadorned, a simple shelter for your wilderness retreat. Configured equally well for a large party of family/friends, or for a couple's romantic weekend away. Outside is a modest network of trails, winding along Rockingham Creek with views of our hobby farm and spectacular Waterfalls. April is a great month to visit with warm days and no bugs!
