Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Wimbledon

I've been wanting to find a peaceful affordable private garden home to unwind and stumbled across this cute gem. The backyard is completely fenced in and the peaceful morning sounds was everything I needed. Very comfortable bed

Nicholas place is conveniently located near the local tram which gets you to the local train station in couple of minutes. Wimbledon center is at 10 min walk. Nicholas is extremly pleasant and welcoming. He allowed us to get into the house ahead of schedule while he was still there with his family. We highly appretiated that as my son got sick and couldnt be outside in the cold weather. Nicholas would check in with us every day to see if our boy was feeling better and if there was anything he could help with. He was a great host. The house is as in the photos and is very comfortable. With a sick boy having all the selection of TV channels was a plus.

Joanna's home is in a great location and she was a wonderful host. The property was exactly as shown in the photos and is relatively large by London standards - this is one of the benefits of being a bit further out the city center. Proximity to Richmond Park is a huge plus, particularly if you have a runner or cyclist in your family. Do note the travel time into central London is approximately 45-60 minutes, unless you happen to exactly time walking/bus/train schedules. On the plus side, you're a very short hop to Kew and other areas west of downtown, and a short Uber or Bolt ride to Heathrow. A couple of other HUGE positives - of the four rentals I've had in London, this was by far the quietest and most relaxed location. Restaurants/markets/etc. are all close by and accessible by bus if you're carrying groceries.

Carmen's home is beautiful, we felt straight away right at home. Carmen and her family's generosity are unparalleled in our experience of airbnbs. It is a wonderful family home with a gorgeous kitchen where the family can cook together. The play space is a haven for kids and the garden was so beautiful in the sun. It felt like a blessed break. This residence was something very special. The host has created one of the best quality residential experiences in Kingston. The layout of the apartment was brilliant. Everything was spotless. The shower and bathroom were well stocked with everything I needed. The kitchen was supplied with high grade cooking facilities & every utensil required for a very comfortable stay. A convenient location, 10 mins walk from the station. This was a clean, quiet and peaceful street with free parking and lots of pleasant parks nearby.

I had a very peaceful stay at Maïte's place. It was very close to the station, easy to find and her home was just as described. She, her husband and the other guests were so friendly and chatty. Thanks so much!

Outstanding Host! My experience with Joana was exceptional from start to finish. She went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly for my parents’ stay. Communication was clear, prompt, and thoughtful — she was always available to answer questions, assist with parking arrangements. She helped us sort out parking permits and payment issues with patience and kindness, which really made things less stressful during a busy wedding trip. Joana’s attention to detail, like letting my parents use her kitchen spices, truly reflected her care as a host. Her flat was perfect, and her warm, proactive communication gave us so much peace of mind. Highly recommend Joana to anyone looking for a host who genuinely cares about her guests!

Great place! I've never stayed in an Air BnB but struck gold with my first one. I stayed for 8 nights while visiting Parkside Hospital & the flat was in an ideal location, halfway between Southfields tube station (near Tesco, Sainsbury's, Simply Food, Greggs, pharmacies, restaurants etc) & the hospital. The flat is very well equipped with good quality things - air fryer, table-top hob, coffee machine, hot chocolate maker, fridge with icebox, kettle, toaster, hairdryer etc, & there's a washing machine, drier & ironing board in the garage. Towels & bedding provided. It's in a quiet, leafy location & I felt very safe walking to and from. Jason was really helpful, kept me well informed but didn't intrude, & responded really quickly to messages. He offered use of the driveway, & was flexible with check in - I arrived late & picked up the key from a safe place. He also left me some supplies, bread, butter, orange juice, coffee pods which was a nice touch. A lovely stay, thank you Jason!

Laura was a great host. Flexible with our check in, she had croissants and eggs and some snacks waiting for us. She also came in person to greet us and to see if there was anything we needed. The place matched the photos and it was decorated with cute touches of London throughout. The neighborhood was very nice and peaceful. This area may not be as accessible to all the bus stops as some places with just one stop close by but with planning you could still get where you needed to. There was also a nice pub close by. We would definitely book with Laura again!

We had a wonderful stay in Christine's cozy apartment. It's well-located near the All England Club and Wimbledon Common and Village with its amenities. The flat has everything you need, particularly kitchen implements, pots and pans. There's a gorgeous garden too and the area is very quiet. Highly recommended for longer stays (like us) or short stays

Fijn knus huis en zeer vriendelijke host. Alles is in het huis aanwezig en de keuken is super! De buurt is erg gezellig en de restaurants in de buurt erg goed! (Check vooral Bosa Kitchen!!! echte aanrader) Fijn lang de Theems wandelen waar het erg rustig is. Ook de pubs in de buurt zijn aan te raden.

Flat was very nicely decorated, well appointed, and comfortable. Kitchen set up well for home cooking. Great family friendly neighbourhood. Felt very safe. Walkable to lots of restaurants and shops. Easy to get to by bus, train, and car - we did all three!

A beautifully decorated small flat in the heart of Crystal Palace. Perfect for a couple. My parents stayed there for the weekend when visiting and they really liked it. Thank you!

Very good studio For a single person or a small couple perfect accommodation Central London 35-45 by tube Good restaurants and grocery shop including Tesco in walking distance Communications were spot on Clean inside Minor issues addressed rapidly Victoria delivered a fan at request as it was very hot lower ground studio. Once the fan is in the room was very cool and enjoyable. Open access to back garden gives a homely feel Real good value for money If you are going to Lords for cricket it’s exactly an hour from the place.

Fabulous apartment in a great location, close to public transport and providing easy access to London - highly recommend.

Our second stay at Deborah's and even better than we remembered. There is everything you need and Deborah is very quick to respond to any questions. It's an easy 5 minute walk to the centre of Kingston and 2 minutes to the Thames and parking on the drive is a real bonus. The bathroom is well equipped and the large bedroom has a very comfortable bed. The sitting room has a comfy settee and dining table. The flat is airy because of all the opening windows and has shutters and ceiling fans to keep it cool. I can thoroughly recommend.

We absolutely loved David’s place and 100% recommend. David’s communication was top notch, he provided us with recommendations of the area before we arrived and a thorough walkthrough video of the property with instructions on how to use all appliances which was greatly appreciated as we had no problems throughout! We stayed for 8 weeks and David checked up throughout which was incredible and if we needed anything he replied extremely fast. The place was completely spotless and even better than we were expecting! Bus stop right outside the house which was incredible and it was super close to shops and quick to get anywhere. Overall, we would 100% recommend this airbnb, it is even better than expected and we cannot think of one flaw this place has!

Lieber Peter, vielen Dank für einen phantastischen Aufenthalt. Gern wären wir noch geblieben. Wir könnten den ganzen Tag in der Wohnung bleiben und den Wassersportlern und Wasservögeln zusehen. Nur hat auch die Umgebung soviel zu bieten, dass man gar nicht alles schaffen kann. Vieles ist dank eines sehr guten Netzes öffentlicher Verkehrsmittel sogar ohne Auto erreichbar. Die Bushaltestellen befinden sich direkt vor der Brücke zur Insel. Pubs und Restaurants erreicht man in 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Die FeWo enthält alles, was man für einen tollen Urlaub benötigt. Wir blieben eine komplette Woche und es hat uns nichts gefehlt. Bilder und Anzeige stimmen exakt mit dem Original überein. Peter ist sehr hilfsbereit und antwortet zügig auf alle Anfragen. Vor Ort stellt er viel Informationsmaterial zum Objekt und zur Umgebung zur Verfügung. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

My parents stayed in Priscilla’s flat while visiting London and felt perfectly at home! The flat is conveniently located, a walkable distance to Wimbledon station and the lovely Wimbledon Village, as well as right next to a bus stop for easy transport. The flat was spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished. The underfloor heating in the bathrooms was a particularly nice feature! The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking, and we made use of the large tv and comfy sofa in the living area. Plenty of space for family meals and relaxing. Priscilla was an impeccable host, with clear instructions and quick, friendly responses. Cannot recommend her flat highly enough to anyone looking for a place to stay in Wimbledon! My family are already looking forward to their next stay.
