The Point of Ayr Nature reserve is 5 minutes away, Talacre sand dunes and lighthouse, then Prestatyn further along the coast. There is a red squirrel nature reserve. You can have days out to Crosby, Southport, Liverpool, Manchester and Blackpool too.

Within walking distance is a leisure centre with pool and great soft play, beachfront bar and restaurant, and arcade.

We are a 5 minute walk from the beach, the site has direct access. Also just a short walk to the train station and Prestatyn high street.
