Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Woking

What a fabulous couple of days we have had at Aimee's place! Aimee was wonderful to deal with, answering any questions in super quick time and so very friendly on meeting us. Such a unique place to stay - absolutely love the way Aimee has done her beautiful home up - we felt so comfy and so enjoyed the boat trips, visits from the gorgeous geese and swans, cats and meeting lovely Bob next door. We felt gutted that we only had a couple of days of our trip left - as would have loved to stay longer and explore more of the area. How lucky are we that Aimee shares her adorable place with us!!! Our group of 6 adults enjoyed our stay at Claire’s house. There was plenty of room downstairs for us all to fit comfortably with a nice lounge area, complete with 3 sofas, and a good size dining area. The kitchen was well set up with everything you need to cook your own meals. The bedrooms all had comfortable beds, but you do need to be careful in the top bedroom that you don’t hit your head on the sloping ceiling! Private off street parking is always a bonus. Claire was very helpful and friendly in all correspondence.

Caroline and Etienne were gracious hosts, we could not have asked for more from our stay. Caroline shared lots of helpful details ahead of the trip and they were kind enough to even pick us up from the local train station which was hugely helpful and so very appreciated. The cottage was picturesque, a charming home that was both traditional but very functional. The details from being provided strawberries and prosecco (among other amenities like fresh bread and milk) were so thoughtful and made our stay extra special. We were in town for a wedding so sadly didn’t explore much of the surrounding area, but the village around us looked beautiful, a chocolate box town with any passers by we interacted with being so friendly and kind. It was fantastic value for money and we hope to be back to enjoy what the area has to offer again soon! Thank you so, so much to you both. We can’t recommend this place enough!

We booked Pete's place for 8 days and enjoyed our stay there. Set amid great countryside the place is just nice for 2. Probably my only complaint is that due to the trees around the property it can be a bit dark, but that said I would highly recommend it. Thanks Pete for always being helpful and at the same time leaving us alone.

Beautiful spacious, clean and well equipped cottage in a pretty village. The garden is delightful and there is an opportunity to use the outdoor furniture. The indoor space is very comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing there after busy days sightseeing in the area. Would definitely return.

On walking through the cheerful blue door into a very welcoming lounge, then through to the kitchen and dining area, the house is so beautifully presented. The lovely yard is perfect for sitting outside in the sun, and the garden is very well presented. The bedrooms are well appointed with a wardrobe in one and hangers on the wall in the other, and even a tv in each. A very comfortable bed with nice soft linen made for a good sleep. An ensuite in each bedroom is very much appreciated, with complimentary toiletries. The basement has a washer and dryer, making it easy to keep up with the laundry. Dorking is a delightful town, with plenty old style pubs. The two stations are within easy walking distance and have good connections to London. The nearby Denbies winery is worth a visit and makes a nice backdrop to the town. My sister and I had a lovely week here and were sorry to leave. We both highly recommend this house for a short or long stay.

A lovely home with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Very well stocked kitchen. Really loved the touch of the xmas trees and decorations, and the fireplace created a perfect cosy evening atmosphere. The second small sitting lounge/nook in the kitchen/dining room was a bonus for a quiet place to relax away from the family madness or as a handy spot to plonk the toddler to watch some tv and play under parent's watchful eye whilst preparing the meals. Location is quiet and safe (little dead-end lane so very little risk of a car passing, plus a huge back garden for everyone to run wild in). One night we ordered deliveroo from Guildford - a great option when you don't want to cook! All in all a perfect house for us (4 adults + 3 children).

Amazing London flat! BEST check in (with John) we’ve ever had at Airbnbs- he is amazing & u will want him to stay & socialize after he aptly explains home features & mini instructions! Public transit is close & walkable from flat which is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood Highly recommend staying here if you want to explore London!

Shane's flat at Notting Hill was perfect for my family's first trip to London. Perfect location. Very easy to walk to restaurants and the Tube Station. Shane was super easy to communicate with... although we did not need anything as our flat had everything for a week's stay. I would highly recommend the flat to anyone who wants to stay in one of the prettiest areas of London.

We had a lovely stay in Johan’s AirBnB. The space was beautifully kept with stunning views. There weren’t a huge deal of amenities close by but we didn’t mind going for a walk (even in the rain!). Would absolutely come back to explore the local walking routes. Thanks Johan!

This apartment was wonderful. Very clean and quiet!! We enjoyed the quiet street and the lovely neighborhood very much. The apartment was very close to a grocery store, restaurants, and the trains! We were able to check in early which we really appreciated because our cruise ship arrived in a Southampton very early. I definitely want to come back to London and will stay here again. We didn’t drink the free bottle of wine but appreciated the gesture. We actually planned to but by the time we got back to the apartment each night we were full! Fantastic, stylish and artistic home. The space is peaceful and relaxing. Courtyard is perfect for enjoying a cuppa in the morning air. James even went to the trouble of booking parking for us at a very reasonable price. Great park at the end of the road for dog walks and canal is just over the road for lovely strolls. A range of shops and eateries on the doorstep. One of the most comfortable stays we’ve had.

Notting Hill Glow was exactly as described. On a busy street, but wooden bedroom doors filter almost all of the nighttime noise. Not having air conditioning was not an issue for us as daytime highs were under 80 degrees and nighttime was cooler, but I can imagine it could be uncomfortable if temperatures reached the 90s. We were able to walk to several great restaurants and pubs. Comfortable bed.

Lovely private flat in Sheen , a short walk to Richmond shops and restaurants . Nice pub along the road that we enjoyed . Secluded and private development, felt safe . Parking was really handy and easy . Lots of planes and air traffic but the flat itself was very nicely decorated and ideal for easy access to Richmond and the surrounding areas

We loved Derek’s space. It was perfect to have our own space when visiting family nearby in Crouch End, at a reasonable price. Ample space for two with a very large bathroom! We would stay again :)

Afsoon was a phenomenal host. Super warm, helpful, considerate with a heart of gold. Her food was incredible. I highly recommend the 3 course meal and her delicious chocolates! The house was immaculate and beautiful, perfect for my time in Windsor.

Great place to stay near Canary Wharf! The home itself is beautiful, spacious and clean. The hot tub and sauna are luxurious and a fun treat! Kitchen is fairly well stocked and easy to cook in. A/C worked great. Washer/dryer combo machine is nice to have as well. There is a small market across the street which makes getting groceries super easy. The bus stops right in front of the house for easy transport to Canary Wharf or anywhere in the city. Great transportation connections via DLR as well. Greenwich is an easy walk and a wonderful way to spend a day. All in all a fantastic place to stay! Thanks for making it a great place for our family!

The folly is a beautiful and magical place with great character. We spent a couple nights there over New Year’s Eve and it was perfect. Check in was flexible and very easy. The location is very peaceful and the garden and surroundings beautiful. Great pub with excellent food a few minutes drive down the road. We hope to be back in the summer.
