Incredible! The WoW factor when we walked to the pool was overwhelming. So much so, that we chose to stay there our first full day to soak in the atmosphere. It's a must see experience, no down side. It was like being at a private resort with a heated, well maintained pool and manicured grounds, very tastefully staged. So envious. Next time, we will bring bicycles to ride to town, it's only a few miles away. DC traffic is not to be trifled with; its Nascar. Our only bad part was Gladys wasn't around to say goodbye, we truly missed out there. We loved every second we spent with her. This is by far the high bar of airbnb's for us, and we've been to some stunning places, but this is our favorite. It was the best part of our trip!

This was such a wonderful home! As other reviewers said, lots of room for a big group to spread out. We had 8 guests. (6 adults and two kids) We explored Harpers Ferry and enjoyed hiking the Maryland Heights Trail. We felt absolutely comfortable hanging at this serene house for our mornings and evenings. Cooked most of our meals, played billiards, sang karaoke, and enjoyed the plunge pool. We had an epic round of hide and go seek. Great interior design and lots of space to spread out for quiet time, and many perfect reading nooks. Thanks Leigh, for being so responsive and friendly!

Was a wonderful immersive experience. We enjoyed dining and playing board games in the great hall. The escape rooms were very well done. I was skeptical on how it would go without a game master, even had some nice surprise moments. Looking forward to staying again. Kids were upset we weren't staying all week.

This was a very nice place to stay for our family trip to DC. The Metro was a very easy walk and Jagan gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants as well. He was also great at answering our questions.

Really lovely home. Well stocked and nice details like luxurious towels and soft sheets. Everything was labeled and well-organized. Very comfortable and great space for a family. Beds were comfortable. Kids loved the huge bathtub!

We had a wonderful family reunion here with 3 generations. Each family had their own private space but there was tons to do on the property together as well. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and made sure we were comfortable and happy! We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked, too.

the stay was wonderful!! we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. from photos, the house seemed very secluded but it’s not (no biggie!) it’s also close to nearby towns and the house was well stocked for us. we did lose power due to storms, but Michelle was very responsive and polite. Also, if you have a low riding vehicle beware that you’ll scrape bottom coming out of the driveway. The hot tub was nice, but the accessibility leaves a lot to be desired. the stairs are terrifying lol but once we got the nerve to climb them, it was lovely! the pool was amazing with a lot of provided floats, tubes etc. they also left out their vacuum and skimmers for us to use which was so helpful as a lot of frogs, turtles and bugs got into the pool throughout the night & the storms. overall, we had a great time and i would highly recommend booking. we would absolutely visit again.

This house is fabulous and perfect for large groups. Plenty of space for gathering and privacy if wanted. Hot tub and pool were great. Home recently updated and in great condition. Didn't have time to use the sauna. Neighborhood is quiet, very walkable and beautiful. Easy access to anything you might need or want.

My time at this Airbnb was great! Lan was an amazing host and made me feel right at home. The place was amazing and so cute!! Honestly, better than the pictures. She was so friendly and made sure I was taken care of. I had every I needed, plus more. The place is so local to some great places, and restaurants. Also the detail in this Airbnb was incredible, so amazing! If I’m ever in the Buffalo area I will stay Again! Thank you

This is a really great spot in an excellent location. It's spotlessly clean and comfortable, and also very quiet (both the neighborhood and the flat). Perfect spot for a stay in the DC area. Would love to go back!

We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin is beautiful and our favorite part was enjoying the outdoor tub at sunset. Would love to stay again!

Very nice space. I was here on my own and felt very safe and easy to access with lots of privacy. This is in the basement and I could hear the family up above at one point ( not all time) but I didn’t mind it at all, not bothersome. Easy parking and a short walk around to the back and a short stairwell down to the door. Lots of space, too much for me really, but I enjoyed it, lots of nice decorations and nice touches. I would stay there again.

Nice neighborhood, quiet, tree-lined street. Vered and Devir were very responsive! Also nice -- they offered (unsolicited) to let me check out later than check out time since they weren't going to have place cleaned until next day. Also provided bottled water and snacks, a nice touch! Can't speak to walkability to restaurants, stores, etc. since I had many different places to go and used my car a lot. My only (minor) issue was that I didn't find the pillows to be comfortable. But there's a cool area nearby called "Pike & Rose" with shops and restaurants.

We would definitely stay here next time we visit! I stayed several nights with my two dogs and we had a great time. They’re both about 50lbs so the space was a little small for all 3 of us, but having use of the fenced yard was soooo great and Laura was super accommodating with my reactive dog. It was easy to communicate with her on the app which I appreciated. The location is close to the highway/beltway and convenient to get to Alexandria and DC, and close to Mosaic District which has restaurants and a great farmers market. You can hear some upstairs noises/barking in the evening, but no different from being in an apartment so it didn’t bother us at all.

Mila and George were gracious hosts and very responsive to our needs. Their guesthouse was cozy, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It was quiet and peaceful, yet convenient to shopping, dining, and sightseeing. We had a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Shafia’s place! We enjoyed the area and rode the Metro from the Franconia Springfield station into DC. This was a great place to come back to at the end of the day. Beds were comfortable and the space was perfect for us. (Girls’ Trip!) We visited AmThai close by, Mount Vernon, Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant, The Library of Congress (tickets in advance), Zaytinya (reservations), the National Portrait Gallery, Virtue Feed & Grain (reservations), Old Town Alexandria, Old Town Books, the Swiss Bakery nearby, Barca (reservations), and Tous Les Jours Bakery & Cafe. The house is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. There is a grocery store, drug store and Starbucks within walking distance. The house is very nicely updated and is extremely clean and comfortable. Jamie is very friendly and responsive.

This was a short-notice trip, so our options were limited. We were fortunate that Diana & Vivek's place was available. It was more expensive than we're used to, but it was well worth it! There was great communication before and during our stay. The house was spotlessly clean. What really made it stand out was all kitchen stuff: spices, tools, snacks, drinks. I ended up needing to bake cupcakes & everything I needed was there except the mix, eggs, and frosting! The neighborhood was quiet - just what we needed. The backyard was big & beautiful, too. We'll happily stay there again if it's available when we travel to the D.C. in the future.

Eric’s place is newly renovated. Very spacious, clean and well supplied. Great option for big group. Eric is super friendly, respond to any requests immediately. We had great time and would definitely book again if needed.

We stayed for a month and it was a great experience for us. The property was very clean and very comfortable. The location was great -- we could walk to the downtown restaurants, which was very fun. The host was very responsive and respectful. The hosts were good communicators. We highly recommend this property to others! Five Stars!

Absolutely beautiful! I don’t know what I loved more the inside of the house or the outside. The hosts were responsive and super helpful. If I am ever in the area I will definitely come back here.
