Wheelchair compatible ramp with direct access to the front entry. This charming cottage offers a tranquil atmosphere in a safe and quiet rural setting. Two night minimum, please. You won't want to leave!

Woodland Retreat Mushroom Farm

This is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom private suite that sits on 14 acres. Enjoy the large back deck or walk around our mushroom yard where we grow Log-grown Shiitake Mushrooms. (The largest Log-grown Shiitake Farm in Alabama). This private suite (meaning closed off) from the main house is surrounded by trees and wildlife. We offer a sitting area inside and out, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hot tea, lots of closet space, wireless internet, and a large TV with free Netflix.

This is West Blocton's first Airbnb. It's located in the old downtown section and is a block from the Cahaba Lily Center. This is an old converted building with all the the charm that comes with an old building. West Blocton is about a 45 minute drive from both Tuscaloosa and Birmingham.
