Waterfront holiday rentals in Wyre Forest District

We chose Brinsop and the Cider Press because my mother was born in the hamlet and I had a photograph of her fathers father with a cider press that may have been used by the building or one near by. Peter and Fiona were interested to hear my mother’s recollection and about our family connection to the area. We were in the area for a family gathering of the Jones’s and it was lovely for me to be able to visit the place my mum was born. The cider press has been made into a comfortable self contained flat with amazing views and it was peaceful, the house martins nesting under the eves were particularly joyful as we no longer see them where I live. The grounds are also beautiful with shady areas and fragrant plants so although our stay was not long it was most enjoyable. Thank you

It was a good quiet location and lovely to overlook the water while having breakfast. Everything was in easy access or walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Nick's apartment is the perfect base for exploring Bridgnorth and the local area. It is spotless, cosy, beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. Communication was quick and easy and the location was just as described. We enjoyed exploring Bridgnorth and found great places to eat within easy walking distance. I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely flat.

I bought this as a mini getaway for my Mum and Grandma for my Grandmas 90th Birthday. Great location - easily walking distance into Leamington centre. My grandma loved looking out over the canal with her morning coffee. The both said the venue was very comfy and well equipped.

A cosy contained flat sitting about an absolutely stunning valley, overlooking a wood beyond. Holly's flat was absolutely perfect for what I wanted - an away from it all, peaceful location where I could study and write. I love nature and I was surrounded by deer, incredible birdsong, red kites, pheasants and so much more. I was lucky to be here for the bluebells and also the golden fields of rapeseed. Ideal location for anyone who likes hill walking, hiking and / or is doing the Cotswold Way. It takes less than 10 mins to drive into Cheltenham, but this place is truly an oasis of calm and serenity. A 6-min drive to the nearest large supermarket, so that was handy. The furniture etc might be a tad dated but, honestly, the price reflects that fact and, frankly, I loved that this wasn't a show home, but rather a well-loved country place. Holly was wonderful to interact with. I recommend this flat in the heart of the Cotswolds. The bed is super comfy too!

We were undergoing IVF treatment and needed to stay in Birmingham for a week. We were looking for last minute accommodation as the previous place we had booked was inhabitable and we needed somewhere clean with excellent hygiene to be able to administer my medication safely. Claire’s accommodation exceeded expectations! It was modern, stylish and squeaky clean! It truly felt like a home away from home for the week and myself and my partner both agreed that it made our IVF journey more relaxed and enjoyable! The hosts were quick at responding to any queries we had and everything was easily accessible. We were truly blown away! Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in the area, we will definitely be using again! Thank you so much x

We had a wonderful stay at Jacky’s apartment “The Chauffeur’s Loft.” Jacky was friendly, making sure we had all the information we might need and our check in was smooth. When we arrived Jacky had provided a very generous welcome hamper full of essentials and delicious goodies which was much appreciated and very kind. The apartment itself was clean and bright. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all the basic equipment needed. The views over the valley from the apartment were beautiful. Our little dog enjoyed the garden when she wasn’t exhausted after all the fabulous walks straight from the doorstep. The various routes to Ironbridge were all lovely and the town itself has lots of lovely little independent shops. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend staying in Jacky’s apartment. What a great find in Gloucester! Great location to bars, restaurants and shops.

Great place for us to stop and enjoy Bridgnorth before going to a family wedding. Walkable in 15/20 mins into town and to the shops. Great set up as we had my elderly parents with us. Once we got them up the stairs, there was a toilet on both levels and a little balcony to enjoy the sun. There's plenty of cooking equipment in for those that want to cater a little to save money. My brothers second stay here, cannot recommend it highly enough such a convenient location for the town and a wonderful space. Lovely location for canal walks and restaurants in town. The house is beautiful and so well maintained and has everything you need. John and Alison are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. They respond to messages quickly and it was lovely to meet them this time too! I’m sure if my brother comes back in the next couple of years we will look to book again.

Great location and communication from host

Absolutely loved our stay here. Perfect location, easy to go out and come back if needed. Comfy beds. Milk provided Private court yard but we also sat out by the river to people watch. The free river cruise you get with here was a nice touch. My husband thinks best place we've stayed. Lovely homely feel, we didn't want to leave. Will definitely be back. Only one thing after long drive there, there were no tea bags only a herbal one (I do normally try and remember some) but after a short walk to town to get some soon had cuppa in hand! Very handy for shops restaurants and walks along the river. Perfect few days. Thanks

It was a great place, well located for Shrewsbury town centre with a pleasant walk along the river to get there. I would definately stay here again. Note: finding the property can be tricky when following 'sat nav', and working out how to reverse a car into the off-road drive required a bit of strategic thought, but that all seemed to add to the experience! What a fantastic find, perfect location, beautiful cottage and beautiful surroundings, we will definitely return and would recommend, if you’re reading this review book before you miss out you will not be disappointed. There are numerous pubs, restaurants and a local Tesco Morrisons and Sainsbury’s we really enjoyed our stay and felt at home the host was really helpful and friendly we tried to rebook for another night but no availability

Krystena was a fab host, so helpful and friendly. The house was lush and exactly what we needed. The kitchen space was amazing for us to socialise and loved the hot tub.

The Woodshed was absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures. Our host was incredibly kind, thoughtful and we truly enjoyed the delicious cake. If you’re looking for a cozy and unforgettable stay, just pack your bag and head to this Woodshed . It’s truly worth every penny. We had such a lovely time and would definitely come back!

Came back for my second stay a combination of work and leisure. Place is so well fitted out and on the docks with great views. Near shops and restaurants.

Lucy was really friendly and helpful, answering questions quickly. She was there to check us in and explain everything, and provided some helpful tips. Its a great location within walking distance of the cathedral and town centre, and several restaurants and pubs. The flat itself is clean, comfortable and has everything we needed, it was also very quiet. Bathroom was very good with a great shower. Car can be parked in a secure underground car park which is accessed by a lift. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and are likely to stay again next year.

Great place to stay for both work and pleasure. Parking right outside the front door. Walking distance of shops and restaurants. Turn left out of the property and you’re on the river. Turn right out the property, cross the road and you’re at the abbey. Perfect.

Absolutely amazing!! Very chilled place, very relaxing. Everything was clean! I would definitely stay again! Lovely friendly host too. Nothing negative to say, it was amazing from check in until I left. :)
