Located in front of the World Heritage Site "Horyu-ji Temple" in Madara-cho, Nara It is a nostalgic yet somehow new, special house. The floors on each floor are made of cypress from Yoshino, Nara, the same material used in the construction of Horyuji Temple. It can accommodate up to 9 guests. It is also recommended for stays with friends, such as "adult school trips", creative training camps, and travelers who love architecture. There are supermarkets, cafes, Chinese restaurants, dango shops, specialty bakeries, Japanese restaurants that have won Michelin stars, famous confectionery shops, and other urban areas nearby. On the other hand, there are also quiet landscapes dotted with the old charm of Madara, where you can enjoy a relaxing stroll. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

The nearest station is Oji Station on the JR Line (18 minutes from Osaka Tennoji Station). It is about a 20-minute bus ride from Oji Station. If you are coming by train, we will pick you up at the nearest station. The last pick-up time is 7:00 PM. After that, please use the bus. There is a lovely hot spring nearby, or you can walk there. There is a barbecue facility in the garden. Convenient access to Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Koyasan, and Yoshino.

We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.
