Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

The Yummy Mud Puddle has a great view of the Black mountains. Nearby are restaurants, family-friendly activities, live theater, contemporary crafts, hiking, river sports, art, and music. You’ll love the Puddle because of the peace and quiet, the deck, the comfy beds, and the nature. All are welcome including kids and well behaved dogs under 75 pounds. John and I live down the hill from the rental and are both full time artists. Our gallery and studios are open whenever we are home.
