Jami and her place were both wonderful! So quiet and peaceful and I loved sitting on the front porch watching the horses, chickens and cats. Definitely recommend this place!

Had a wonderful time staying in this house. The location was perfect walking distance to almost everything in Burnsville. The hosts and the property manager were super agreeable and responsive! We would definitely stay here again

Very peaceful property and a perfect spot for the few days I was in the area for a workshop. Kim checked in to make sure I had everything I needed, which I did :) Clean, comfortable and all the amenities as listed. Would book again!

Great country location, at the end of a road. Beautiful mountain views. There were 5 of us, and the place had six beds. The kitchen was fully stocked. We had several campfires. There is a second outdoor kitchen area, under a large outdoor cover. Beautiful front porch with two rocking chairs. We had our morning coffees there every day of our five night stay!! Five stars all the way!!

From beginning to end our stay was perfect. We felt as though we were right at home. Our hosts provided extra amenities such as body wash, extra toilet paper, etc. nothing was missed. Our location was fifteen minutes from my grandson’s wedding venue and we could do everything conveniently. There are some super places to eat such as Garden Deli and we were able to walk around and enjoy the charm of the locale in between the wedding festivities. I cannot recommend this lovely home enough ♥️

Our vacation was like coming home to granny’s house . Minus her cooking . If you are looking for peaceful beautiful views and the occasional wildlife friends to stop by and visit this was pretty close to heaven . The host was so very helpful and friendly . We can’t wait to plan our next trip to Parson’s Glenn .

Our host were great. Made sure we had all we needed to enjoy our family vacation. We had to book this last minute because another place didn’t work out. This wasn’t a problem- we were able to book and drive straight over. This really relieved a stressful situation. Thanks!

Raven’s Roost was the perfect getaway for our family! We first booked with intent to ski/snowboard, but the weather didn’t cooperate with that plan. We rebooted for family time in the cozy cabin with great space to be together for dinner and games, but also space for quiet alone time! My family loves table tennis 🏓, a big bonus for us. We loved everything about Raven’s Roost and hope to visit again when the snow comes back. Colin was great to work with; responsive, friendly, with local recommendations…which we took advantage of. Highly recommend for cozy cabin getaway!

We had the most relaxing time! We booked a last minute trip to just get away for the weekend! We feel refreshed! We had a great stay. Peaceful, relaxing, we felt right at home! Cabin was spotless! Hot tub 10/10. Master bathroom is absolutely beautiful! Great stay!

Easy to communicate quiet place peaceful, scenery is amazing. Easy booking. Friendly welcoming committee (Opal) . The set up was good . Nice private area would visit again PS the night lights make it easy to find at night

This was our 2nd time staying. It gets better every time. The pool was new this year and what a great addition. Wish it would have been a little warmer while we were there but my niece still enjoyed it. The place itself is gorgeous and the view is mesmerizing!!! It is stocked with everything you could possibly need from games to kitchen needs. They even leave a thoughtful basket of goodies for the guests. The hot tub is the best relaxation and the couch is big and comfy to watch a good movie. Even checkout is simple and easy here. Austin is always nice and helpful with quick responses and is always a pleasure to stay with. The surrounding families at the bottom of the hill are so sweet, waving as you come and go. Really makes you feel at home! If you are looking for the perfect place to get away, hit the book button!!! Not one thing will disappoint! Can’t wait until we can have another Momma and girls get away here. ♥️

I stayed here as I was finishing writing my book. It was so peaceful. It looks way better even than the photos. The backyard is like a dream and the landscape was so beautiful to wake up to every morning. I could not get enough of it. The house itself was super homey and the bed was so comfortable! The host was amazing and yes, it was just one of the best Airbnb’s. I’ve stayed at.

This condo is nestled in a beautiful location, surrounded by a cool breeze from the trees, and a gorgeous peek at the mountains through the trees. The condo is well equipped, spacious, and cozy. The beds are firm for those who like a firm mattress. The deck is relaxing and inviting, and the nearby walking areas are peaceful, but mountainous for our love for exercise. Parking is great, and Burnsville has a lot to offer.

Our family had a lovely stay. There was plenty of room for everyone, the house was spotless and the views were absolutely beautiful. Getting in and out was no problem at all. The hosts are super responsive although we had no issue at all and the beds were amazing to sleep in! We would absolutely come stay here again.

The cabin was exactly as pictured. Very clean and lots of amenities. The kitchen and bathroom have all the necessities. The couch is cozy and Roku TV allows streaming for a relaxing night in. Outside, the Firepit, charcoal grill, picnic table, hammock, and Adirondack chairs make a PERFECT, peaceful evening. We enjoyed making s’mores and letting our dogs explore the property. There are some small walking trails and a pond for fishing. They allowed us to use their boat to go out on the pond, which was very peaceful. We had a wonderful stay, Kailey was very responsive and we had no issues at all. We are already planning to come back soon!

Wonderful stay, easy to find, great layout, very peaceful surroundings. We came up for the week of Thanksgiving to visit family close by. The floorplan was absolutely perfect for our family. The house is very comfortable. And the views were peaceful and pretty (we didn’t spend much time outside because it was very cold). However the hot tub was AMAZING late at night. The stars were unbelievable! If you cannot sleep on a very firm mattress then this house would not be for you, the beds are VERY firm. Otherwise everything was wonderful and we loved our stay, and look forward to booking again!

Adorable little cabin! Perfect for a long weekend getaway to explore the parks nearby. Close to the main house but still feels secluded because of the high fence. Highly recommend!

We got to live through Hurricane Helene while staying at the cabin. It was a surreal experience. We learned that the community residents in Big Ridge are very friendly and helpful. All the neighbors came together to help each other and received us with open arms and helped us in every way they could. The roads were cleared of debris quickly and we were able to get home within a few days of the storm passing. The property owners checked on us as soon as they could and were as well extremely accommodating. Despite the difficulty experience, I would return to this cabin in the future for sure. The cabin has all the essential you would expect and it’s a great value. It’s perfect for hikes in the Black Mountains, such as Mt. Mitchell.

This is. a great, cozy cabin nestled along the Cattail Creek. The deck area is amazing and really sets this property apart. The listing is honest. The cabin is simple and gives you the experience of the rustic (but comfortable) getaway you were imagining. Brad is thorough and the transaction was easy, with good instructions on how to enjoy the house. We were vacationing in July, so spent much of our time on the deck next to the river and the ceiling fans kept us cool at night. It is easy to get down to Burnsville and other sites nearby (tubing, antiquing, hiking etc) and parking and driveway were easy to navigate without 4WD / AWD rental car. Would definitely stay here again when we come up to the mountain next time.
