Kikori Guesthouse is a 270-year-old renovated old private house in the mountains of Chigata-cho, Tottori Prefecture.The village where our inn is located is selected as a preservation area of traditional buildings in Tottori Prefecture, and it is a tourist spot in Chigucho where you can enjoy the original scenery of the mountain villages of the early Showa period. The main house of the inn is estimated to have been built about 270 years ago (in the middle of the Edo period), and it retains the atmosphere of an old private house in 1960, such as dirt walls, shoji, and a tin roof. In early summer, fresh greenery is beautiful, and it is a cool summer retreat in the middle of summer, and in autumn it is also a famous place to discover autumn leaves.Please come to a hidden place that feels like a step back in time to the old world. The guest house has 3 rooms, but this room will be a Japanese-style room for a dormitory (up to 3 people). From December onwards, it is the season when snow begins to fall, and studless tires are essential for cars.The living room has a wood-burning stove and a kotatsu, but the only heating in the bedroom is an electric heater.Please take precautions against the cold before going to Yukiguni.

Opened in spring 2023, this 300-year-old guest house is both old and new. It is conveniently located 5 minutes by car from Nishi Awakura Interchange and 10 minutes on foot from Awakura Onsen Station. You can stay in the main house [Osaji no Yado Doyashiki] at the end of the large gate. In winter, there is a possibility of snow, so we look forward to reservations from people who are well equipped for the cold and have tires on their cars, and who can enjoy the experience of shoveling snow during sudden heavy snowfalls. (Please refer to the photos of snowfall. We rent snow shovels, but it takes a while to get the car out.) No meals are provided. There is a large kitchen, so please use it. BBQs and campfires are also available near the parking lot facing the river. You can try cooking rice in a kettle if you wish. Please contact us. The bedroom is a Japanese-style room, so it is not a bed but a futon. We will prepare for the number of guests, so please lay them out yourself when you need them. The hotel also realizes the concept of Talmary, which creates a local cycle while protecting the natural fermentation environment. From amenities to cleaning detergents, we strive to use natural, organic, and biodegradable materials that preserve a healthy natural environment. We want you to enjoy the whole town environment, as well as homemade bread and beer... With that in mind, we built a hotel in the lovely post town of Chizu, which is a remnant of the Edo period. This one-story house was built in 1946. It had been vacant for a long time and was in a bad state, but I carefully renovated it with a carpenter. In the flat lawn garden connected to the room, you can watch the fire and the starry sky while listening to the sound of the waterway. The sound of the Wakasa Railway in the distance gives a sense of nostalgia. The old Hasegawa residence was built in 1936 It is a traditional Japanese house in the mid-mountainous region of Tottori. I worked with my friends to renovate this vacant building We have been working on renovations for 9 years. It has finally been reborn as a farmhouse inn. Family bonds, friendships, and bonds with friends. Spend time reconnecting with various bonds, Enjoy a variety of activities and relax from all your daily fatigue. The 3 rooms of 8 tatami mats, 6 tatami mats, and 8 tatami mats can be used as a free space or as a bedroom. Feel free to use the kitchen as well. The bathroom is equipped with two bathtubs and two showers. We also provide yukata and kimono.
