Beautifully located on the beach of Nilakka, a grandmother's cottage, a child-friendly shallow beach and an atmospheric cottage sauna "on" the water. On the sauna terrace there is a hot tub that can be rented separately (remember to check availability). As landscape keepers, a flock of sheep in the vicinity of the cottage or on the main farm, the village road runs through the 3ha cottage plot but the location is still very quiet. The main farm is a horse farm located 0.5 km away in a small idyllic Savonian village. In summer, the cottage can accommodate a larger group, ask for more information!

New sauna cabin (20 m2). The cottage has a living room with a kitchen, a low loft, a sauna and a dressing room. Cooler for the summer. Pier with swimming steps, small sandy beach, rowboat, life jackets, outdoor toilet, parking area, yard lights with sensors, campfire area, new gas grill and barbecue hut. The kitchen has a separate oven, ceramic hob, microwave, extractor fan, fridge/freezer and LED lights. Drinking water is brought to the cottage. Access to the hot tub from the terrace. The hot tub is available separately. Reservation of the hot tub 1 day in advance.

Jokela School Summer Cottage

Traditional Finnish summer cottage with sauna building, separate sleeping cabin, outdoor toilet and barbecue canopy. The place is located along the Matkusjoki river. Further up in the courtyard is the old Jokela school (built in 1928), which we renovated. If you enjoy a genuine summer cottage with minimal extra comforts, then this could be your summer destination. We especially enjoy the gentle steam of the wood-fired sauna and a refreshing dip in the relaxing tranquility of the river. A warm welcome to our summer place!

Karpalo mökki

Winter cottage in a beautiful location by the lake. The cottage has a kitchen, a fireplace, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a sauna. Outside, there is a wood-heated barrel sauna and a shed. Linens are not included. Karpalo is a cozy rental log cottage by the lake. The cottage is fully furnished with all modern conveniences. The cottage and its electric sauna is in use from summer through the beautiful Finnish winter. In summer and autumn there are separate sauna with lake side view, gas grill, campfire place and a rowboat.

Located right on the shore of Syväri lake (using the rowing boat is complimentary) you can go fishing, swimming... or cross country skiing in the winter.
