Beach cottage with lakeside sauna

A log-framed villa and a lakeside sauna in a grassy hilltop landscape. The lake opens to the west and a slightly deepening sandy beach suitable for families with children, as well as a large sunny lounge dock. A fire pit and a rowing boat on the beach. The cottage has a kitchen-living room, bedroom, toilet, laundry room and sauna downstairs. The upstairs has an open loft, so there's room for a larger group to sleep if needed. The cottage comes with electricity and water. The air source heat pump heats up in the winter and cools in the summer. There's also a fireplace.

Jokela School Summer House

Traditional Finnish summer cottage with a sauna building, a separate sleeping cabin, an outdoor toilet and a barbecue canopy. The place is located along the river Matkusjoki. In the upper courtyard, there is the old Jokela school (built in 1928), which we are renovating. If you enjoy genuine summer cottaging with the smallest additional comforts, then this can be your summer destination. We especially enjoyed the gentle steam of the wood-fired sauna and the refreshing dip in the relaxing peace of the river. Warm welcome to our summer place!

Cranberry cottage

A winter cottage in a beautiful location by the lake. The cottage has a kitchen, a fireplace, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a sauna. Outside, there is a wood-heated barrel sauna and a shed. Linens are not included. Karpalo is a cozy rental log cottage by the lake. The cottage is fully furnished with all modern conveniences. The cottage and its electric sauna is in use from summer through the beautiful Finnish winter. In summer and autumn, there is a separate sauna with a lake side view, a gas grill, a campfire place and a rowboat.

The winterized cottage has a small indoor shower and toilet. There is a small lakeside sauna near the lake that can be heated for a reasonable extra fee.
