In the cottage by the shore of Höytiäinen, you can spend your vacation surrounded by a unique lake landscape. The wood-burning sauna has soft steam and a view of the lake. Underfloor heating and fireplace heat in winter. Cooking with an Airfryer, in the microwave, or on the terrace with a gas grill. Drinking water is available directly from the kitchen faucet. The guest has the entire cottage at their disposal, with sleeping areas for two, a sauna, a toilet, and a small kitchen. The air source heat pump ensures a suitable indoor temperature. 13 km to the center. 8 km to grocery stores.

Beautiful sauna cabin (floor area approx. 39 square meters) on the shore of the clear water of Valkealampi! It sleeps four people. The cottage has a sandy beach, in winter an ice hole. You can ice fish or fish in the summer. You can jump into the water from the lovely steam of the wood sauna. Relax in the tranquility of nature. Nearby you will find, among other things, Kontiolahti's ski slopes and trails, biathlon stadium, Paihola's frisbee golf course, summer café (about 6 km), Pielisjoki and Joensuu (21 km) and Koli National Park (about 54 km) services and activities!

Small summer cottage by the pond

Want to experience the atmosphere of a traditional Finnish summer cottage? This peaceful and unique place by the pond gives you a good chance to do so. A modest small cottage suitable for two people is located only about 25 kilometers from Joensuu market square and 20 kilometers from Joensuu airport. The cottage has water from the pond and a wood-fired sauna. Drinking water must be brought with you. The air heat pump cools down in the heat and the Wi-Fi connection allows you to work from the cabin.

Genuine summer cottage on Kuoringa Island

A unique, newly renovated small cottage in Suurisaari, Kuoringa, with clear water and fish. Here the lake landscape and the clear Kuorinka are the main features. The cottage has two beds and a sofa bed, a kitchenette, a gas refrigerator and heater, a sauna and a magnificent lake view towards the evening sun. Solar-powered lights and mobile phone charging. Transport to the island (900 m) is arranged by the host's motorboat. For those arriving by boat, there is a wind-protected berth on the island.

A cottage located only a 25-minute drive from the center of Joensuu. Quiet location, especially good for couples to calm down. Located on the shore of Viinijärvi. The cottage has a kitchen and sauna renovated in 2020. The washing water for the cottage comes from the lake, but drinking water must be brought. The kitchen faucet also has hot water. Heating of the cottage with a baking oven and an air heat pump. Compost toilet in a separate building. Linens are not included in the price. No pets.

Log cabin by a clear water lake

Small log cabin with spectacular lake views. There is an extendable bed (2x80cm) in the cabin, as well as a kitchenette (running cold water). Sheets and towels provided. Electricity. Rent includes private use of a spacious wood burning sauna by the lake, about 2h per day (sauna also used by the owners). You can book your slot at arrival. Access to hot water in sauna (heated by wood). Dry toilet next to the sauna. Use of a rowing boat. Cabin is located 50 meters from the house of the owners.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Grandma's cottage with sauna

A 100-year-old log cabin with amenities in the courtyard of the main house for year-round living. For guests staying several nights during the heating season, in addition to electricity, there is oven heating. Wood is ready, guidance or heating if needed. Good road connections. Outokumpu is about 10 minutes away and Joensuu is about 30 minutes away. Koli is about an hour away and Valamo Monastery is about 30 minutes away by car. In addition, there is a dog cage outside with a small hut.
