While the retro atmosphere unique to an old Japanese house has been preserved, the bathroom and kitchen have been renovated with new fixtures and feel clean. Nearby, you can enjoy a stroll in the Kawaharamachi area, lined with cafes and bakeries in renovated traditional machiya houses, or along the Nagaragawa River, famous for cormorant fishing. It is a charming area with lots of nature and fields. Please experience the real, nostalgic life of Japan, not a manufactured Japan. The convenience store is about 4 minutes away by car, The supermarket is about 8 minutes away by car. To ensure you enjoy the stay to the fullest, I set check-in and check-out time to both 12:00 Noon. So you can stay up for 24 hours with one night booking. YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.

"Moegi" is an old folk house lodging along the Nakasendo in Gifu. We renovated a 60-year-old, 150㎡ old private house to create a private lodging where you can relax. "Moegi" is the name of a traditional Japanese color. It was named to wish for a "good start'' and "child's growth.'' There is a playroom of approximately 32 m² for children. Don't worry if you can't go sightseeing due to rain. There are also many sightseeing spots in the area, making it an ideal base for sightseeing.

A private sauna villa in the satoyama, with a clear river only ten seconds from the sauna. Designed by a local designer-photographer couple, the villa blends warm wood and natural light for a calm stay. The living-dining area and loft sleep up to four guests. Enjoy BBQ or a fire in the garden, or relax on the terrace with the sound of the river. In autumn and winter, a cozy kotatsu is placed on the terrace. A retreat for adults, made for slowing down and enjoying simple nature.

江戸時代に建てられた２階建ての土蔵を改装し、ゲストハウスとしました。 広くはないですが、土壁や太い梁など土蔵の雰囲気を残しながら、１階にIHクッキングヒーター付きのキッチンを設置。１階、２階にエアコンを完備し、快適に過ごせます。土蔵ならではの遮音性や夏の涼しさ、冬の暖かさを体験いただけます。 車で5分ほどでサウナ施設、15分程度のところに姉川温泉、20分ほどで北近江の湯があります。 周辺はたびたび歴史の舞台となった長浜ならではの観光スポットが多くあります。 国宝の彦根城や豊臣秀吉の長浜城、石田三成の生誕地、日本屈指の山城・小谷城、合戦の地・賤ヶ岳、など。また関ケ原合戦地までは車で20分足らずです。 琵琶湖周辺のほか、日本最古の鉄道駅舎・長浜鉄道スクエアや子供も遊べるヤンマーミュージアム、黒壁スクエアなど歴史以外の楽しみもいっぱいです。 近江牛、鴨料理、焼鯖そうめん、のっぺいうどん、サラダパンや鴨、小鮎などグルメも楽しめます。
