OPEN March 20, 2026 Nestled in the mountains of Nara and Yoshino, surrounded by greenery, lies the quiet, one-day, one-group-only traditional Japanese inn, B&B Mori no Akari.(The name means "Light of the Forest") ⚫︎ During your stay, breakfast and dinner handmade by the owner are included (please refer to the photos). ⚫︎ We can also accommodate pescatarian and vegetarian meals. The kitchen area is shared with Hotos.The rest of the space is reserved for your exclusive use, and you can enjoy your time freely, just like when you rent the entire property. A spacious area of approximately 230 m² can accommodate up to 8 people.Ideal for family or group trips.There is also easy access to Yoshinoyama, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, and Kimpusenji Temple, a World Heritage Site. We have preserved the historic beams and tiled roofs while creating a comfortable environment for your stay.The tranquility of the mountains, the soft light that illuminates the night.Here, you can take a break from your daily routine. Due to the abundant natural environment, we recommend that you come by car. (If you wish, we can arrange transportation to and from the nearest train station.) Located in Totsugawa Village, Nara Prefecture, Wakayama and Mie prefectures are right next door, and it is close to tourist attractions such as the World Heritage Kumano Kodo, Rorikyo, Tamaki Shrine, and Kumano Hongu Taisha Shrine, as well as hot springs such as Yuguchi Onsen, Kawa Onsen, Yuno Mine Onsen, and Totsugawa Onsen. The entire space, which includes a loft with a staircase dance and a renovated basement of an old potato field, is also used as a place for artists to stay and create, depending on the period. You can enjoy nature and art with ONKAI, an outdoor sculpture by a German artist, a 2-3 minute walk away. Breakfast, bento, and dinner are optional, and we offer vegetarian menus using vegetables from the Kumano area. ⚠︎ Because the river is close and the area is surrounded by nature, there are many insects in the warm season, and they may enter the room. In a beautiful mountain village that changes with the seasons, Would you like to enjoy a peaceful moment that makes you forget your daily worries? At our inn, you can enjoy the starry sky and the peaceful atmosphere. Located on a hill with a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. When I open the window, There, you can see “terrace fields,” a traditional Japanese landscape. We weave poems inspired by the changing seasons. In spring, the rice terrace with water shows the blue sky and the surrounding landscape as if it were a water mirror. In the summer, the fresh green rice flying in the wind plays a cool tone. In autumn, the rice terraces, surrounded by golden rice ears, shine across the entire landscape. In winter, the bundles of straw piled up after the rice harvest create a wintertime scene characteristic of the rice terraces. While I had this stunning borrowed scenery all to myself, Enjoying conversations is also important. It is also a good idea to surrender to a comfortable silence, It's all up to you.

It also has excellent access to popular tourist destinations such as Hirakawa Onsen, Mitarai Valley, Amagawabenzaiten, and Mizuhanoyu. The room has a spacious layout, so you can relax while feeling the nature. It is fully equipped with a barbecue stove, a cycle rack, a baby crib, etc. Enjoy a special time with friends and family while listening to the river. Wi-Fi is available for workations. Free parking is also available. Please use it as a base to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the four seasons and activities unique to Amakawa Village. We look forward to welcoming you.

Located along the Takano Highway, it has great access to Mt. Takano, Osaka, Wakayama City, etc. This room has 2 single beds and 2 semi-double beds. You can enjoy the garden in all seasons, but especially in May when the roses are in full bloom and you can enjoy the wonderful fragrance. You can also have tea in the garden. Japan's tiny home in Koyaguchi offers two guest rooms, ideal for up to 3 guests, with a minimum of one group per day. An additional fee applies for three or more people. Accessible via JR station with a Japan Rail Pass, it features a kitchen for self-catering and indoor bicycle storage. It’s an 8-minute drive to Natural Onsen Yunosato and a 6-minute walk to Koyaguchinoyu public bathhouse. Directions are available in the guidebook. Please save it to your favorites for easy access.
