Amazing place. Pics don't do it justice. I told them to update! Just off the main road at the end of a block. Beautiful inside and out. About four rooms all set up tatami style and all Buddhist themed. Extensive neighborhood details and recos. Shared kitchen with everything you could need and common areas to read etc. Even a meditation room for 6am guided sessions when the host and friends are available. They've been doing it 12 years. Highly recommend. I caught a cold and since staying at hotels for my three weeks in Japan, there no where else I would have wanted to rest with tea and so much more available. Laundry was great too. Have to see and feel the vibe to believe. Special town too.

The home is nicely tucked away in a very quiet and peaceful part of town surrounded by nature (Yoshino in itself is already a very peaceful town). Beautiful scenery, it’s a great place for nature lovers who want to get away from the city and enjoy a nice relaxing time in the greenery. Yoshiko and her husband were very accommodating and unbelievably friendly. Would recommend everyone stay here for at least one night! I absolutely loved it.
