Breathtaking views of the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. There is a lot of eagles, especially sea eagles, but also golden eagles. Follow us on insta on Birdbox Sotra If you want to rent a kayak, we recommend northernexposure.

The apartment also works great as a base for those who want to explore Bergen, the city mountains and the fjords. The apartment is a stone's throw away from Fana golf club with its 18 hole course. Nearby you also find Fana Stadion, Lagunen big center and Hordnesskogen. In summer there are swimming opportunities in Melkeviken. Minimum 4 day stay if you wish to rent the apartment in July (week 28-31)

Cosy, modern apartment!

Cosy, modern apartment. Close to the airport and in a peaceful neighbourhood, surrounded by the beautiful, scandinavian nature. 16 min from the city centre by car. The apartment has everything you need, including some simple cooking options. There used to be gym equipment in the appartment, but that was moved to the garage. FAQ: «Is it within walking distance from the airport?» No, it’s about 10 min by car. If you want to go by public transport you will have to take a light rail and then bus.

The place is at the countryside with beautiful surroundings. 5 min walk to Botanical garden, and 15 min walk to arboretum and public beach. 25 min. by car to the center of Bergen (20 km). The interor of the building is very unique, with many wooden handycrafts. The appartment has 4 bedrooms, livingroom, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, washingroom and diningroom. The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken- tunet på Os. Above the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road.
