Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Yzerfontein

Probably one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Exactly what we needed to unwind, with a stunning home in a beautiful location. Attention to detail and very generous hosts. The home is also equipped with every appliance you can think of. This is why I enjoy booking Airbnb homes over hotel rooms, it’s the personal touch and warmth that is unmatched. Would definitely return!

BEAUTIFUL AND LUXURIOUS! Our family was very impressed with this home. Very modern, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. We can’t wait to return. Love all the en-suite bathrooms, beds are comfortable, great space to accommodate larger travel groups. The ocean view from the upper deck was stunning. We almost didn’t want to explore around because we enjoyed the home so much! Walkable to many places, safe, secure, and Odette and Bella were very kind!

A beautiful stay with fantastic sunrise views over the ocean. We had a windless visit and enjoyed evenings sitting on the porch playing board games - there’s a lovely braai there too. The Spar is very close, which was very convenient. You are at the end of a cul de sac with no one between you and the mountain/ hill behind - the best location in the neighbourhood! Will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay, the space is beautiful and peaceful. Good quality linen and everything you need in the kitchen. Jannineke is a friendly and helpful hostess and made us feel right at home.

We had a peaceful, relaxing stay at the accommodation. Karien, the host, gave clear check-in instructions that were easy to follow, she is very responsive with messages and gave us recommendations for dining spots to visit in the area. The kitchenette has everything you need to prepare light meals. The bedding and towels were quality brands, and they were clean and fresh. The views from the room is breathtaking. We had a wonderful stay! Iris was a friendly and informative host—she made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The property was spotless, well-equipped with everything we needed, and the views of the beach were absolutely breathtaking. Really great place to stay. Right on the sea front, far end of town. Very quiet. Easy access to beach below. Hear the lapping waves. Very clean and very well equipped. Pleasantly surprised to have a shower as was not mentioned. We thought it was a bath only. Great shower it was too! Very comfy big bed. Lovely place to relax and unwind. Read a book or beach walk, yet near enough to restaurants. Highly recommend.

We only had one night but could have stayed for a week. Private and 50m from the beach. Tastefully decorated with all one would need for a short stay in Paternoster. We would definitely go back.

Absolutely loved our stay! Every room in this place offers a view, but the living room view is truly unbeatable—you can see Table Mountain, Lion's Head, Robben Island, and the ocean all at once. The top-floor room shares the same stunning panorama. Staying here made me want to move to Cape Town! The neighborhood is both secure and peaceful, exactly as it appears on the website. The home itself is even more beautiful in person. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Cape Town. An unforgettable experience!

Dorita was exceptionally friendly and helpful. There was a small issue as to how the remotes worked when we were checking in but Dorita responded immediately to my query and sorted out things out quickly and effectively. The house is well located within walking time of restaurants, main beach and shops. It is well appointed, clean, neat, comfortably furnished with beautiful sea views from the back upper deck. Yzerfontein is a lovely West Coast coastal town with plenty to do and see in the area, including beer tasting at local breweries, gin tasting at an artisanal distillery, an amazing artisanal bakery, beach walks, etc. We look forward to our next visit.

Its the 2nd time we stayed at the Lighthouse beach house. What an amazing place. On the beach. Swimming rock pool. Jacuzzi. Can BBQ overlooking the beach..clean and have all amenities for a great stay. Thanks to Priscilla for helping eith cleaning and ensuring place is in order

The house is absolutely stunning, the heated pool just fantastic and the view is amazing. The house is very well equipped and we definitely missed nothing. We had the most wonderful family stay at Doug’s villa! The location was absolutely perfect with direct access to the beach, and the house itself was even better than we expected. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, from the beautiful decor to the well-stocked kitchen and super comfy beds. It felt like a true home away from home. Kathy was a fantastic host - helpful, responsive, and welcoming. We made such special memories here and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommend for a relaxing beach getaway with family!

Such a fantastic place! Perfect for a group of friends. The views and sunset were incredible, and it was amazing being right on the beach. The hot tub, fireplaces and indoor braai make it the perfect winter escape.

This is a fantastic stay, especially if you're into wind sports. You can windsurf, kitesurf, or wing foil right from your doorstep—no need to drive anywhere. There's a dedicated kite room for gear storage, and the beach in front is also one of the best for swimming. The infinity pool is long enough for proper laps, which we really enjoyed. The house is modern, clean, and offers breathtaking views with unforgettable sunsets. We loved relaxing on the patio loungers. Marcus was very welcoming and greeted us personally, and Shantelle, the manager, was proactive, helpful, and great with communication. The unit is serviced every third day, which made the stay even more comfortable. Highly recommended—especially for wind sport enthusiasts, but also perfect for anyone looking to relax in a beautiful setting.
