Holiday rentals with lake access in Zahara-El Gastor Reservoir

We stayed for a month in Fiona’s renovated house & found no problems. Although there is no air-con, a lot of fans are provided. Wi-fi was excellent. There are three bathrooms which is great - no fighting in the morning to have a shower! The house benefits from a lovely roof terrace, too. Fiona was easy to communicate with and is a very kind & considerate host. Check-in is easy. The house is well equipped & very clean. For longer stays, it’s worth knowing there is no oven, but we managed absolutely fine with a microwave & a hob. The washing machine is a bonus. Parking can be an issue at certain times of the day, but we always managed to find a space. The house is situated on a residential street so it can be a little noisy, especially in the evening, but this was not a problem. The main square is situated downhill, so just be aware you need to navigate steep streets & steps. Would highly recommend Fiona & her house.

Ik heb ontzettend genoten van mijn verblijf in het penthouse van Oceana Gardens in Estepona. Het appartement was werkelijk schitterend ingericht en voorzien van alle denkbare gemakken. Alles was schoon, modern en comfortabel, wat het verblijf erg aangenaam maakte. Er is een ruim balkon en als je daar heerlijk zat had je uitzicht op de bergen en in de verte de zee. De omgeving is heerlijk rustig, ideaal om te ontspannen. De aanwezigheid van een gym was voor mij een fijne bonus. Voor wie van lekker eten houdt er zit een goed restaurant La Famillia op loopafstand dat absoluut een bezoek waard is. Een auto is wel aan te raden, want dan ben je in ongeveer 15 tot 20 minuten in het centrum van Estepona, waar je volop restaurants en het strand vindt. Kortom een perfect verblijf als je op zoek bent naar luxe, rust en comfort in een mooie omgeving. Ik kom hier zeker graag nog eens terug!

Casa muy acogedora y limpia, todo olía bien, la anfitriona muy atenta y amable. La temperatura en la casa es perfecta, equipada al completo no le falta detalle. Nos ha gustado mucho, volveremos a alquilar.

Skvěle vybavena vila se třemi ložnicemi velkou kuchyni a obývacím pokojem, fajn posezení na dvorku s grilem a bazénem. Blízko na dlouhou pláž, skvělou na běhání i koupání, spousta plážových barů i restauraci, obchod pár minut pěšky.

Casa honey was fantastic! Centrally located huge home and Lily was a perfect hostess. Very attentive and responsive. You won’t regret this place!

The Villa was perfect, surrounded by beautiful countryside in a tranquil spot. The place was easy to check in, with clear instructions, simple key pick up and was spotless on arrival. The host was communicative and responsive throughout and the villa had everything we needed. 100% would visiting again, thank you!

Anna was responsive, pleasant and easy to deal with. The apartment/villa is on 1 level with 2 small bedrooms/2 bathrooms It was very clean with a lovely modern kitchen and comfortable lounge with a big TV. There is a slight view of the sea. The outside area is private and well equipped for eating. Apart from the weekend the area was quiet and peaceful and there is a decent supermarket within a 5 minute walk/2 minute drive Linen, towels, toilet paper, bin bags provided Slight negatives: the pool is very small; it was possible to hear the adjoining neighbours through the walls (although it did not disturb us); Google could not find the property (although Waze did); the street and parking space are very narrow - we had a small SUV (Seat Arona) and just manged to get in, anything larger would need to park around the corner; the door (which has no handle) needs to be pulled towards you, with the key, at the same time as turning the key to release the latch, before pushing the door open

If you're looking somewhere to unwind - then the Finca Los Naranjos is an excellent place to totally relax, Its a wonderful place in the Mountains to have great holiday, in the solitude and sounds of countryside silence! Amazing surroundings and peaceful solitude. The Rio Genal is great for walks, bathing or just a picnic! The freshwater pool is a boon especially with recent hot weather. Good access to road links to major towns and cities, eg Seville, Ronda Malbella and Malaga. The local Gaucín worth visiting. A great place for shopping, lunch or brrakfast etc . The bonus of attending local artists open house exhibition.

Una casa muy bonita y súper bien equipada con todo lo que puedes necesitar para unas vacaciones tranquilas. Y lo mejor, sin duda, son las vistas impresionantes.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und liegt ruhig. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und war sehr sauber.

Alles in Allem war alles gut. Der Zugang zur Unterkunft war flexibel. Sie war sauber und hatte alles was man benötigt. Für das Leihfahrzeug hatten wir einen sicheren abschliessbaren Parkplatz. In direkter Nähe gibt es einen Sandstrand und nette lokale. Auch gibt es Fussläufig Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Zudem ist der Ort sehr zentral um schnell mal zu den umliegenden grösseren Städten zu gelangen. Die Kommunikation mit Carlos war einwandfrei. Er ist sehr freundlich und antwortet schnell. Top 👍🏼 wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt

We had a great stay at this apartment. It was clean and had everything we needed. The area is quiet and great for walks. It’s close to the supermarked. You can walk to the beach in 20min. The pool was closed, so we didn’t get to try that. I would recommend this place.

encontraran todo muy bien puesto y limpio- con todas las comodidades necesarias , apartamento muy amplio la piscina estupenda la temperatura del agua un 10.tranquilidad y paz en el lugar.

Mit unserem Aufenthalt in der schönen und kindgerechten Wohnung von Francesca waren wir sehr zufrieden. Kommunikation über Handy hat reibungslos geklappt und trotz verschiedener Sprachen konnten wir uns sehr gut verständigen. Die Wohnung ist traumhaft gelegen mit Zugang zum Pool und ganz nah beim Meer. Auch die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Beim nächsten Mal kommen wir gerne für einen längeren Zeitraum.

Die Wohnung ist phantastisch. Immer wieder würde ich zurückkommen. Der große Balkon mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer (und den Pool mit Palmen) ist das Highlight. Die Liegen auf dem Balkon sind bequem wie Betten. Dank dem Umbau der Balkonmauer mit einer Glasfront, kann man die Aussicht auch im Sitzen genießen. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, ob in der Küche, im Wohnzimmer, in den Badezimmern oder auch die Schränke in den Schlafzimmern: jedes Detail ist durchdacht und gemütlich. Alle Betten sind absolut bequem. Andreas war immer innerhalb von 2 Minuten erreichbar und sehr bemüht. Die Schlüsselbox ist einfach zu finden. Die Nachbarn, die wir getroffen haben, waren alle sehr nett. Super Lage, 20 Minuten zu Fuß nach Elviria. Nur der Parkplatz: der ist was für Könner mit Geduld, aber das ist in Spanien normal. Ich würde am liebsten sofort wieder einziehen und freue mich auf das nächste Mal. Danke Andreas

Jose was very welcoming and hospitable. The location is awesome and beautiful. The kids loved the outside play area. It was perfect!

Everything about this place is absolutely beautiful. The house and garden is very nicely decorated. The views are breathtaking. It is very peaceful but also an easy drive to many towns. Trini was a great host as well. ☺️

Beautiful house and scenery, perfect for quiet chill days by the pool and/or use as base to explore Andalusia. Clean house, good beds, gorgeous garden and great size infinity pool. Julio and his mother were lovely to interact with and we had the most amazing time in El Gastor. About 30min gorgeous walk to the village that has cafes, restaurants and small shops. Just make sure to check opening times! Ronda, Olvar and other great cities and outdoor activities close by and lots and lots of good food places.

Wir waren ganz begeistert von dem schönen Häuslein von Ana Maria. Hübsch am Hang gelegen mit Blick auf die kreisenden Geier und Landschaft, schöner Pool, Küche voller Lebensmittel (Wurst, Käse, Tortilla, Eier, Kartoffeln, Zwiebeln, Milch, leckrer Rotwein, Joghurt...) - der Wahnsinn. Dazu war es blitzsauber. Mehrere schöne pueblos blancos wie Ronda, Olvera, Zahara de la Sierra zum Entdecken und Wanderwege in der Nähe (meist ca. 30min Fahrt). Super schnelle und unkomplizierte Kommunikation.

A mejorar: La limpieza de los utensilios de la cocina, vasos y platos estaban llenos de grasa. Eche de menos una lavadora que no es imprescindible, pero se hubiese agradecido. Algo, ya más personal un telescopio, hubiese sido increíble ya que con la vista y como se ven las estrellas sin contaminación lumínica la verdad que está súper guay el lugar. Sitio perfecto para desconectar, además de que mi perra se lo paso en grande hasta el camino del lago, muchísimas gracias a Julián por estar en contacto en cada momento, a María José por el recibimiento y resolverme las dudas y a Jose Antonio! Un sitio en el que repetir sin dudarlo y terminar de disfrutar de Malaga, el pueblo está a 3km con buenos restaurantes, carnicerías y de todo. Además, de que la playa está unos 40min que no está nada mal, al igual que hacia Ronda y otros pueblos a visitar. Nos vemos, un saludo!!!

Esta ha sido la segunda vez que nos hemos quedado un grupo de 10 amigos en la casa... y pensamos repetir.

What a beautiful place this is. nestled in a small oasis of green overlooked by mountains, where the griffin vultures start to whirl by mid-morning. it's truly peaceful and relaxing and a short drive to the characterful pueblo blanco of grazalema, which has nice bars, cafes and shops (we also saw the Vuelta d'Espana cycle race go through there which was a spectacle). Fernando is a lovely guy, very calm and friendly and helpful. we were there with four children under 16, and had a lot of fun playing small games of football on the pitch by the pool. the house is great and has a welcoming outdoor space where we ate and chatted most nights. can't promise there'll be a newborn kitten when you get there, but everyone loved watching it go from sleeping every day to taking its first wobbly steps. Recommended!

Amazing stay! The house was perfect for our group—spacious, very well maintained, and set in peaceful surroundings. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking for a big group easy and enjoyable. Carmelo was a fantastic host, always quick to respond and very helpful. Highly recommended!
