Nice place and cozy, I recommend it 100%

Our stay was great. Luis was our main contact and responded very quickly. The house is fabulous in a very private and scenic setting. Gorgeous views from every window and the deck. The deck chairs etc were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils we needed. The grounds are impeccable and very well maintained. The WIFI is adequate (7-9 mbps) but it works. The walk down to Vilcabamba center is at least 50 minutes and we always used a taxi to come back. If it is raining be sure to get a cab with four wheel drive which are plentiful. Luis also has a four wheel drive and offered to take us back and forth numerous times. The pool was spotless and really nice and we did not need to have it heated. Like most of Latin America there are 3-4 dogs on the property but for the most part they did not bark much. You are a little out of town but the privacy and views were exactly what we wanted. We loved this place and are already working on a return.

It’s an excellent house to stay with your family. It’s spacious, clean, and safe. Maria Elena and family were so welcoming and made you feel at home. We will definitely stay here again!

The house has a lot of space and is well equipped. The kitchen has everything you need, although the freezer wasn't cold enough to make ice cubes. Warm water for longer than 1 minute can be a challenge both in the kitchen and the bathroom, but overall the house can definitely be recommended. Everything is clean and at night you have a nice view of the city. The owner replies quickly to messages and there's someone available in the same building in case of questions or problems. Be aware that getting to the house from the main street is a very steep walk - much steeper than what I expected based on Google StreetView. I recommend taking a taxi or the bus (which apparently goes on the street above the house, but I'm not sure about that), especially if you have a lot of luggage. But again - thanks to the location you've got a great view of the city. I recommend this place.

This is a great place to stay. The location is quiet, with hiking trails a block away and plenty of fresh air. It's also just a short walk to the bus stop. The apartment is very high quality, with hardwood floors, lots of natural light, a great kitchen, and good internet. The view is excellent and the hosts are very kind and attentive. The washer and dryer were very convenient. Overall it was a positive experience and I would stay there again if I ever come back to Loja.

Very accurate accommodation, I asked Jorge to allow me to include two 3-year-old children in the reservation and very kindly indicate that there was no inconvenience, Carmita was very helpful and kind, she gave us the tour to the house and I provide the necessary information of it! I made everything indicated in the listing, 🫶 my family was very happy with the selected accommodation, ✔️ without hesitation, I will return to Loja and contact you for an upcoming stay

The place is very nice, easy to get to and the house cozy. It has everything it says and very agile communication, plus it's fun to see the landing and take off of the planes.

Beautiful cabin, amazing view. I loved laying in bed in the morning and feeling the breeze come in, while listening to the sounds of the Forest. Charolette, the co host was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back!
