You will enjoy memorable and authentic experience of Aluksne. Mr. Banga is a two-story boathouse (boat incl.) with fabulous view to the Aluksne lake and the castle ruins of the Livonian Order. The boathouse is located on the Alūksne Lake/ city centre. There is walking trails, cafes, swimming spots, sports field, a children’s playground, the Alūksne Castle Park and historical objects within walking distance. There is free parking spaces and bicycle rental. We offer experience, not comfort!

One has to see and feel it by themselves, no words could ever describe it! - The majority of the furniture of the house is authentic and made by the local craftsmen, the same goes for the cutlery too! - Our pride is the restored masonry stove traditionally used for baking bread (still in working order).

Fresh spring water flows straight from the tap. The house can accommodate up to 6 people at a time. The nearest neighbour is 500 metres away, ensuring complete privacy. Popular nearby attractions include Suur Munamägi (the highest peak in Estonia) in Haanja and the Ööbiku viewing tower in Rõuge. There are also good fishing spots nearby. If you wish, you can also rent a Finnish sauna or a traditional smoke sauna, located 500 metres away next to the hosts’ house.

Majas on elekter, kahekohaline voodi, laud ning radiaator jahedamate ilmade tarbeks. Pesta saab praegu saunas ja ujuda tiigis. Ventileeritud kuivkäimla asub hoovis. Siin on hea peatuda Setomaa või Võrumaa külastajal või piirkonnas matkajal. Võimalik lisada väikelapse voodi.
