Private trails for hiking, biking, xc ski and snowshoe. 4WD or AWD preferred travel in winter. The heat is furnished by a wood stove. Solar powered lights and phone charger. Our mountain condo is close to many outdoor adventures, including skiing, snowshoeing, fishing, hiking and kayaking. The front door is 12-14 minutes from the lifts and 11 minutes from downtown, but is far enough away to leave the hustle and bustle behind at the end of the day. You’ll love it because of the incredible views, the cabin-like setting with condo amenities, and the perfect secluded location. We are an 80-acre, historic mountain base-camp located in the remote Medicine Bow Mountains at 8700 ft elev. We are 5 miles from the Colorado/Wyoming border. Our property is backed up to BLM and National Forest. Outdoor mountain activity is the main attraction. The pioneer era cabins overlook an incredible view of Kings Canyon and the Zirkel Mountain Wilderness. We have three cabins available. We are semi-rustic with electricity, an outhouse and very nice camp kitchens in each cabin.

This historic 309-square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire. On a clear night the stars are absolutely breathtaking!
