The most perfect weekend away with our doggies, the cottage is located on a beautiful vineyard which our dogs were allowed to run around ! Great base to visit local areas and a short drive to a few different beaches, our dogs felt very settled at Charley’s place and they were even greeted with some treats and a tennis ball ! Our favourite weekend break we’ve had in a very long time. Can’t wait to come back in the future :-) thank you !

We stayed here for 1 month. Kaz and Rob were great hosts. They ensured they were on site when we arrived, to let us into the property and provide us with all we needed to know about their accommodation and area, including good dog walks, and were so helpful throughout our whole stay. They also provided the best Welcome Pack I’ve ever seen! The accommodation is perfect for 2 people, and it is so well equipped. The WIFI was good, which we needed as I was working during our stay. We were also able to use the adjacent cottage to store some of our stuff and use their freezer. We found the hosts, and the locals, so friendly and welcoming and my wife felt totally safe there on her own too, when I had to work away for a night. We also loved the nature connection, with nice walks and being close to the sea. Aberaeron itself has some nice cafés, a useful small supermarket an organic food shop, a well-stocked health food shop and a few other shops. We'd highly recommend Karen's place!

Great stay in a lovely seaside location only minutes from the coast. Great loft bed and an amazing bath. Perfect getaway from work.

The shepherd’s hut is charming, nicely decorated and well equipped with thoughtful touches like good bedlinen, milk in the fridge. It’s in a very beautiful, peaceful spot and we enjoyed sitting outside with the sea view and bird song. It took about 20 minutes to walk along the footpath into Aberaeron . The coastal footpath to New Quay was stunning ( we returned by bus). . A lovely , relaxing few days. Thank you.
