Beautiful space with stunning view! Perfect to disconnect and relax!

We had a fantastic stay in the cottage for nine nights. Villa Alta is in a beautiful location and the grounds around the house are so well maintained. We enjoyed both the shared pool and our own private terrace with hot tub. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and perfect for our needs. It was a perfect base for us to explore the area. Raffaella was so friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the villa on a couple of occasions. We would highly recommend a stay here.

We spent two nights there, everything was great! The hot tub overlooking the mountains is a good plus and if you go there in summer you can enjoy the fruits that grow on site. There is also a couple of neighbors, who are absolutely adorable and with whom everything went well.

!!! Hidden jewel of Tuscany !!! My girlfriend and I had one of the best holidays ever in this wonderful place away from the tourist strongholds. We were received in person by the host family upon our arrival. Just to let you know: Molly herself is just a kind of agency from the UK, with whom you have contact before arrival. We were then in contact with the host family on site and were very warmly welcomed by them. For the perfect start to our holiday, we were handed a homemade antipasti plate, fresh fruit, a cake and a bottle of wine. When we got a detailed tour of the property, we couldn't get out of it. Everything was just incredibly beautiful and prepared for us with so much love for detail. Starting with the pool area, which is equipped with the most seating, lying and chill facilities. Of course, the fire bowl must not be forgotten, which is just perfect for a cozy and romantic evening. In addition, there is the breathtaking view over Castiglione di Garfagnana and the associated nature. For us personally, the pizza oven and the associated barbecue station were an absolute highlight. The house has everything you need. It is super clean, well equipped (especially the kitchen) , the bed is really comfortable and here we really want to highlight the attention to detail in all rooms. In addition, the surroundings are beautiful, you can just love the small villages, the mountains and nature. A perfect place to just unwind and enjoy the tranquility. In the end, it is only to say that we are incredibly happy to have discovered this place, a week there was far too short and we can recommend this accommodation with full conviction. Exceptionally beautiful house in Tuscany. In a wonderful mountainous location with incredible views. Lucca, Pisa, Florence and many other destinations can be easily reached by car 😁 Mr. Biondo, who is actually the host, is an extremely courteous and friendly man. Helpful and always available. I'd be happy to come back 😁

The stay at Sara's house was really very pleasant. This beautiful, recently restored house overlooks a fragrant, flower-filled garden. The kitchen is equipped with super appliances and quality dishes. The beds are very comfortable and the linen is of high quality. nothing is missing to fully enjoy the holiday. Another thing that makes this village special is the fact that you have to leave your car and walk home on a pleasant walk while your luggage travels on the tractor driven by Bryan. far from the noise of the city, I spent hours immersed in the peace and greenery of the woods in the background. Sara and Bryan are caring and welcoming hosts and know how to anticipate every desire. I highly recommend this place if you want to experience moments of true relaxation.

The place is located on top of the hill. It has been a pleasure to stay for a few nights at Federico's place. He has been really helpful when we asked questions, to find the place etc. It is a lovely family house. We did not test the jaccuzi because off season but I guess on sunny days it must be amazing. The view from the house is stunning.

Beautiful views, 20 min by car from the nearest town, not accessible without a car. The communication went great, the house was easy to find with navigation & the area is very nice

Great place in a very quiet and peaceful location. The place has everything you need. The closest supermarket is a bat far away, though it is expected at a place this remote. So try to plan a bit more time for your geocery shopping. Host ist kind, responsive and very proactive. We even had a video call so she could explain the amenities. Recommended

Absolutely stunning, authentically Italian cottage in the mountains of Tuscany. Rosella was a fantastic and welcoming host. A great spot for exploring Tuscany. The only drawback was the very steep hill - pack your trainers/ walking shoes.

Everything was perfect! We had a great time at Elisa's. The house matched the description and had everything we needed. Having a 1 and a half year old child, she provided us with everything we needed for him, a cot and a high chair. Our son was free to roam without problems and obstacles. We felt right at home. The sea is just a short walk away. The area is very quiet, with maximum privacy and internal parking (perfect for unloading luggage with ease). There are all the necessary amenities nearby. Elisa is always available to answer all questions with suggestions. We will definitely be back ❤️

Charming holiday home with great amenities in the middle of an Apennine village. Perfect for relaxing, hiking in the area or taking a trip to the sea or Lucca. Friendly hostess!

We visited La Casa di Elsa for the second time after having stayed there two years ago. We knew what to expect and our stay this time was even better than last time considering Marco and Graziella installed an above ground pool!! Our daughter absolutely loved spending the evenings in the pool, especially since we had the best two weeks of hot weather to make us really appreciate the joy of a refreshing dip. Graziella and Marco are the best hosts, very welcoming, are always responsive and are very respectful of the guest’s privacy. All in all a great visit and I’m sure we’ll be back for a third time :)

We were looking for a quiet location that we could use our car to visit several communities of Tuscany. This was perfect for two people. It is small, but cozy and comfortable, and met our needs. VERY quiet!

Very nice house tastefully renovated. Large garden ideal for children and evening aperitivo, watching the sunset over the mountains in the distance. Very clean and very functional with everything you need for a great stay. The host family is very friendly and gave us good advice on sightseeing and restaurants where to go. Great

Beautiful house in nature, location as a starting point for excursions to Lucca/Pisa/to the sea,... well suited.

We enjoyed the house in Torre, as the first house in Tuscany it was wonderful to arrive with attention and pampering of Stefania and her mother and father. Close to Lucca, a great base. A private parking space and privacy. The communication was very good. A house to enjoy outside with all those outdoor terraces. Thank you. It was very nice!

Our little family loved our stay here. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s so much more beautiful in real life. The hosts were lovely and the villa felt just like being at home. It was very comfortable and the hosts accommodated our baby boy with a cot and high chair which was very helpful. It is a relatively short walk into the city centre of Lucca which was extremely handy. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had such a wonderful stay with Leonardo and Stefania. They were incredibly welcoming and made our stay extremely pleasant. The breakfast served every morning was delicious and the pool and garden area was a peaceful bliss for our family. We would love to come back again soon.

We enjoyed the stay very much. The accommodation was beautiful & well equipped, and the small village is quiet & beautiful. Lucca is definitely worth a day trip, and we booked a local cooking course nearby. The house is a bit hidden but nicely located. The steep pathway from the parking area to the house is easy to be taken for adults, but should not be underestimated for elderly people and small children.

Alberto and his son are super nice and very attentive. We loved the place (it's even better than the pictures). The pool is magnificent. We spent a week with our 15-month-old son and everything was very well suited to a baby. We recommend this listing and will definitely be back
