House holiday rentals in Abita Springs

We had a great stay! My siblings and I were in town for our brother’s wedding. We loved the house so much that we wanted to stay longer to enjoy the house more. The rooms were nice, and comfy.. we loved the game room and the pool. We had a great time! The host was so accommodating and friendly! We can’t wait to come back to visit ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Hammond. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, and we were just a short drive from restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Communication with the host was easy and prompt—they were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area!

Wonderful clean place. Very peaceful and it was the perfect place to get some silence. Driveway parking is great. Would recommend it to anyone to stay.

Our stay at Melindas place exceeded our expectations. It was cozy, relaxing, and she provided so many little things that made a big difference. Everything we could have needed was there. She was a wonderful host and provided even the smallest details. Check in and check out were extremely easy. Thanks for everything Melinda.

Enjoyed the stay! Even with the not so ideal weather conditions we still had a blast! Plenty of things to do around the house and perfect weather to sit outside under the back patio and relax!

This little green house is small but so cozy and perfect for a weekend get away. It is set on a beautiful piece of property that is private, yet not isolated. We very much enjoyed both the amenities of the house itself as well as fishing in the pond, thanks to the very well equipped fishing supplies on site. The kitchen is perfect for cooking a small meal, the bedroom is cozy and comfortable, and the decor is very cute. We cannot wait to stay here again!

loved how close to i 10 it was nice and quite. neighbors were nice and shared their crawfish. good place not too far from downtown.

One of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at! Amazing views & so much room. We were there for the Taylor Swift concert & loved being far enough away from the traffic. We would love to go back one day!

This place was great for a relaxing time with wonderful shopping and restaurants! I highly recommend going to downtown Slidell for yummy Tacos.

Beautiful property, even beyond the pictures. Very private, peaceful, clean and spacious. Our three girls were in heaven watching the wildlife off the high deck. We bbq and had family over, there was room for everyone and all our friends and family said it was a rare find of a property. We will definitely be back, and host extremely friendly and responsive!

Thomas' place in Old Towne Slidell was perfect for our out of town family in town for a wedding! A beautiful house and great layout!

Great place to stay! There were 6 of us staying in the house and there was plenty of space. The house was super clean. The beds were comfortable and we felt right at home. The bathrooms could use fans of some kind. It gets a little stuffy in there, but not a deal breaker. Great piece of property with lots to do! Heather was super nice and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Truly a unique stay. Kitchen equipped with everything you need. Very cozy and comfortable. We love finding places that are completely individual and in nature-this is one of those. It was a wonderful anniversary trip.

We had such a wonderful time at John and Karen’s place. They are wonderful people and great hosts. We had an amazing time with them as they took us around Madisonville, showing us a few great spots. Their place is so beautiful and relaxing. It’s magical. We came from California so staying here was an adventure, so different from what we are used to. We fell in love with Madisonville. Thank you John and Karen for being so attentive and welcoming. We can’t say enough and you guys and your beautiful property. Can’t wait to be back for a visit or maybe be neighbors. We enjoyed this place

It was located really close to where we were visiting a friend. It was also close to a lot of shops and food. My favorite was the Abita Brewery. The home had plenty of space for the 5 of us traveling.

Great location to visit Mandeville and the Lakefront (within 1 block of the lakefront). Easy to walk to multiple restaurants, bars, and shops. Bed was comfortable and host provides all the basics (towels, bathroom amenities, etc). Definitely recommend for a weekend gateway or anyone visiting the area!

We love booking Ms. Susie’s place. Being there so close to our family, feels like a home away from home. The artwork that she has done is displayed throughout the home and it truly adds that extra something special to the cozy vibe. Booking a stay at the Core Homestead will not disappoint!! Our family will most definitely book there for our return visits to see family.

This place is truly a hidden gem. It’s packed with so much history and truly is secluded from neighbors. We enjoyed catching a few brim next to the cypress stumps and a few catfish and nuisance gar. The house is gorgeous with all the Spanish moss and huge trees on the property. Inside is like taking a step back into time. We had a fun game of finding switches and lights that would work and not work but it only added to the charm and the obvious add ons that must have occurred through the years. Enjoyed reading through the guest book and reading people’s stories from the house back in the 60’s. We were unfamiliar to the area and Stephen recommended Roux & Brew. It was some of the best food we have ever eaten and a great atmosphere with music. Bloodriver Cypress down the road was another great stop! Grass was cut, house was clean, bed was super cozy, linens were fresh, house smelled amazing, dishes were available & had a super easy check in and check out. Highly recommended this stay.

One of our favorite places we have stayed! It was decorated/set up like a place the hosts actually vacation too. Little things like pans and knifes in the kitchen that are actually usable made it comfortable and easy to vacation. With the supplied crab pots we even caught some blue crab for a meal one night! Nice and clean, comfy beds, and a peaceful dock/screened in patio!

David and Cassondra were very gracious and set the house up for a good time. My sons fished every morning and every evening. We caught crabs in the traps daily. Plenty of tackle and bait shops nearby. It was a 25 minute drive into downtown New Orleans. So the best of both worlds. The house was stocked with spices and condiments. Really enjoyed our stay and recommend it with 5 stars ⭐️

Absolutely awesome property and awesome host. Extremely cozy and clean. Jamie was super awesome and helped us out to make sure we had everything we needed. Made the work trip a 10/10 felt like we were in great hands
