Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Abrantes

We spent 2 nights there in June. Edite is a lovely and friendly woman. The accommodation offers a magnificent view! and we slept very well there.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house in Ourem! Very clean and spacious for our family of six. The photos are very accurate and the location is a short walk into town. We enjoyed visiting Fatima and the local area, we also really appreciated João's recommendations, particularly the best beach to go to with children. During our stay in Ourem, João responded very quickly to our queries and we felt truly welcomed by our host. We also appreciated Pedro's kindness in adjusting the dates in advance of our trip. We would love to come back and visit again one day! Thank you for such a lovely stay!

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

Luiz and his wife were excellent hosts. Always eager to help. Place was very clean, Gates and cozy inside. Big terrace with great view. Felt like home away from home

Very charming, comfortable and homely house with easy access to Sao Martinho and Navaré. Very tasteful inside. Everything you need is there as the owners clearly stay there themselves.

We had a great stay in extremely comfortable surroundings. Clean, spacious, well equipped. Fabulous swimming pool! Exiting the property a bit hazardous by car. The property is on a very busy main road and is a lorry route, you need two people to exit, one in the street as traffic flies by! A mirror situated so that you can see what is coming would be extremely helpful. The road is noisy but did not penetrate the house too much. Most shops, restaurants, etc are a short drive away. There is nowhere close enough on foot. Beds are comfortable but bed linen and towels are a little old and tired, they could do with replacing. Contacting the host during the week was problematical. Phone rings 3 times then changes to engaged tone. On one occasion all the electricity cut out, fortunately we were able to find the trip switches. We were aware that in an emergency we could not make immediate contact, a bit worrying. A minor point but as a party of 7, two sets of keys would have been helpful.

We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The house is in a quiet area very near to all the Knights Templars castles which we wanted to visit. Having the small swimming pool was a great addition. There are lots of good restaurants nearby.

We were extremely well received and received the best instructions and welcome! The interior is comfortable and the garden is relaxing and beautiful. Exactly what we and our 3 dogs needed: a weekend of rest and connection with nature. I highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is beautiful. The area is peaceful and quiet. There is a little grocery store and restaurant within walking distance. It was a lovely spot to stay and drive to Fatima and other sites in the area. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. We had a little trouble finding the place and they came right away and met us. Would definitely stay again!!

True hidden gem in Alentejo, with an amazing view. Perfect for a group of friends or a big family!

Rita was very friendly, you got in touch quickly and the cottage was in a nice place. There was everything available for a few nice days. I would describe the house as perfect for 2 people

Maria was an excellent host, always available and very helpful! When we realized that there was no oven, it was very thoughtful and immediately got us an air fryer, which made all the difference! The house, in general, has good spots, including the garden with swimming pool, which is a wonderful space. However, we consider that it is more suitable for 2 or a maximum of 3 people. We 4 and especially at the level of common spaces and day-to-day logistics, namely beds, has become more complicated. Overall, the experience was very positive, with Maria's sympathy to stand out!

This is a magical place and we are very thankfull that we could make it our home for a long weekend. It was beautiful from the inside and the outside. With cosy corners to sit and read by yourself, or nice bigger tables to eat or chat with the whole group together. The pool, the view, it is even more breath taking then on the pictures. We really had the most amazing time with our group of friends! Thank you Sergio!

Family of 9 enjoyed our stay in Andreia’s lovely home! Even more charming than the pictures. The yard and pool were so inviting! Beautiful modern home in the middle of a quiet quintessential town. We hope to go back!

Paula really goes above and beyond to make it as comfortable as possible. What a sweet, nice woman and what a nice house it is. We were there in a rather wet period and in the house it was cold. But there was enough wood for the stove and she came to bring us electric heaters for the bedrooms. We also didn't arrive until 12:30 at night and we had communicated that so there were fresh eggs and sandwiches in the house in the morning because the village was rather remote (which is wonderful for peace and quiet). But we also learned that a bakery came by at night and that you could put a bag with a note in it and you had fresh bread in the morning! I can tell so much, but you have to experience it yourself. Anyway: Paula is a winner!

It’s no surprise this place has a 5-star rating – everything is spot on. Just don’t expect to swim in the lake; it’s more of a tranquil frog and turtle pond, which makes for a lovely view to wake up to.

Jose's place was amazing! He and his team had great communication, we're very responsive and helpful. Place is well organized and has everything you need, just a great place to relax and the surrounding area is beautiful

Wonderful stay at Elizângela's house! In addition to the friendliness and kindness, the house was impeccably clean and tidy, containing what is necessary for a few relaxing days and away from the movement of the big city. Very close by, about 2 to 3 km is the Praia Fluvial dos Olhos de Água which is simply beautiful. The house had TV service (vodafone), books, game console, and other board games, as well as an outdoor space with basketball basket and BBQ, ideal for spending time outdoors and going with children. In addition Elizângela and her family accept animals, which allowed her to take my dog Nina and include her in these Easter minifteries. I recommend it to everyone and it would definitely be a repeat stay. Thank you for everything, we feel at home!

We really enjoyed our stay. Teresa and Fernando are wonderful hosts — welcoming, friendly and always ready to help. My husband and I, along with our dogs, are going through a transitional phase in life, looking for a home and stability. Teresa and Fernando offered exactly what we needed — they made us feel completely at home. They even prepared a special vegan pizza for us at their restaurant and gave us a ride to Benecar when we had no other form of transportation. The apartment is charming, clean and quiet, with many windows that let in the light, and the area has beautiful urban parks and nature to explore. Overall, our stay was very comfortable and healing.
