The Leaf is a quiet, small, but beautiful place to spend the night. Perfect for two people, with a sanitary building further down and a tea house opposite. For me, it was very nice that I could arrive late in the evening. That was no problem at all and the communication went smoothly. Definitely recommended!

Everything was very good. The apartment is very nicely decorated and everything necessary is available. We were able to take very nice bike tours and the cities of Dokkum, Leeuwarden and Groningen are also quick to reach and worth seeing. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come again.

We (2 adults + a 10-year-old child) enjoyed the time very much and can very well imagine coming back. The landlady is very friendly and helpful. Everything in the house is as shown in the photos and described in the description. The terrace and the view of the pond, the meadow and the animals are very beautiful and invite you to relax. The sauna is also very nice, of course. It is very quiet, especially in the evening and at night. The price for the wood for the sauna (currently €15 per basket) is completely fine and a basket was enough for us for 3 days, but you could also buy more wood at short notice from the landlady. A supermarket and a fishing tackle shop are nearby (2-3 minutes' walk). Other shops and restaurants are also within a few minutes' reach. The parking lot is directly in front of the accommodation on the property.
