The little Refuge

This is a neat cottage for a couple or a little family (2 adults & 2 children) situated in the heart of the beautiful valley of Argelès-Gazost. It is a little house of about 40 square meters, with a separated parking and its own garden. At 450m high, it is close to shops (less then 5 minutes from 2 supermarkets) but in a quiet place, on the forest edge, without vis-a-vis. At the start of many walks, a nice trail brings you to Argelès-Gazost in about 20 minutes. Tranquility without isolation.

With its spacious furnished terrace, mountain views, and easy access to cycling and hiking routes, it’s an ideal base for exploring the Pyrenees, Lourdes, and nearby villages. Located on the D918, a scenic local road popular with cyclists and visitors, the flat is full of charm and we hope you’ll feel at home here too. Adventure starts here!

Situated at the entrance to Argelès-Gazost and less than a kilometer from the Parc Animalier des Pyrénées, its location will enable you to enjoy the joys of skiing in the many winter sports resorts in the area, to travel the mythical routes and passes of the Tour de France, or to hike the most beautiful hiking trails in the Pyrenees.

Our house, which is just over a hundred years old, combines old-world charm with cosy modern comforts. It is close to Argeles-Gazost, Cauterets, Luz-Barèges and Gavarnie. Hikers and cyclists are welcome here, and in winter skiers can go to Cauterets (10 minutes away), Grand Tourmalet, Val d'Azun and Hautacam. The main shops, cycle paths and walking trails are all within easy walking distance. Our large garden awaits you for those days when you just don't feel like moving

The apartment, on the ground floor of a house renovated in 2025, is located in the village of Adast, at the crossroads of major Pyrenean sites such as the Cirques de Gavarnie, Cauterets and the Pont d'Espagne as well as famous Tour de France passes such as the Tourmalet and the Hautacam. The "Gaves Greenway" bike path that connects Cauterets to Lourdes is just a few meters from the apartment, 18 km of bike rides or walks await you!

At the crossroads of the valleys of Cauterets, Luz Saint Sauveur, Val d'Azun, we will welcome you to a 3-star chalet for 4 people at the Ferme des Lamas. You will be in the heart of nature in the company of our trio of llamas. At the start of many hikes and close to ski resorts, and thermal and balneotherapy establishments. You can benefit from the Bamboo cabin in addition to the chalet for 2 people.
