Peaceful Dog Friendly Cottage In Addingham

RachelRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Lovely unspoilt period cottage, more spacious than we expected. It's a good centre for Wharfedale itself and other surrounding areas, plus walks from the doorstep. It has everything we needed, and we were very comfortable. May is very helpful, she gave us useful advice about the area, and it was nice knowing she was on hand if any problems had arisen.

Stank House Farm, Bolton Abbey

A beautiful place to stay! On the expensive side, but the cottage is both luxurious and comfortable so it felt worth the price. The gardens are gorgeous and the hot tub was a real treat. We'd definitely return!

Smith Cottage in Appletreewick sleeps two

RuthRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Situated in a perfect spot for beautiful walking from the village, Smiths cottage is warm and cosy, a generous size for two, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you need. There is ample parking and a pretty garden and patio with wonderful views of Wharfedale. You can stroll to two pubs- we had a delicious traditional steak and ale pie at the Craven Arms. There is a useful friendly basic supplies shop at the nearby campsite, which also has a little cafe and ice cream spot. We walked to Burnsall and Hebden along the River Wharfe on our first day- glorious scenery and bird song all around. The climb up behind the Craven Arms over the hills to Troller’s Gill and through the valley to Skyreholme was well worth the effort for the vistas and for a visit to the fabulous Parcevall Hall Gardens, with its Love Brownies tea room for refreshment before the walk back along the River Wharfe via Howgills to the cottage. Sunny weather too! God’s own country indeed. Thank you Lorren.

'Hoglet House' central Skipton in quiet cul-de-sac

TrudiRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had a wonderful stay at Hoglet House. Hannah was a brilliant host and responded really quickly. The house was so well equipped, Hannah had thought of everything, and the welcome goodies and flowers in the house were such a lovely touch. The house information booklet was the best I’ve ever seen - the nespresso coffee guide and detailed cafe/restaurant guide were great! The cul de sac the house was on was super quiet and a really short walk into Skipton, and was also ideally located for exploring the wider area. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Duckling Cottage

AnthonyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a fantastic week at Duckling Cottage. We had everything we needed and there was a lovely welcome pack. There are pubs, shops and takeaways along the same road and the area itself is beautiful and very convenient for exploring the rest of the Dales. In the evenings we enjoyed walking down to the River Wharfe and watching the wildlife. If you go to the area around the suspension bridge and wait patiently, you might see a kingfisher hunting as we did. What a glorious place

An absolute delight for a five night stay. Exactly as advertised. Ilkley walkable which was great. Jonathan and his partner were lovely friendly hosts. The pretty garden that we were able to sit out in was an added and unexpected bonus. Highly recommend 🙂
